1. Roboquest VR
Roboquest VR is the big launch of the week. It brings the fast roguelite FPS loop to Quest: sprint, slide and jump through robot-filled runs, then keep changing your build as you unlock more weapons and classes. It is a paid game rather than another free social clone, and the full VR-first movement set is the reason to look at it if you want something with real momentum.
2. Cybercore Protocol – Mixed Reality
Cybercore Protocol – Mixed Reality turns your room into a defensive battlefield. You scan the space, place turrets, freezers, burners, lasers and decoys on a holographic map, then deal with enemies arriving through portals in the walls and corridors. It is in Early Access, but the actual idea is clear: this is room-scale mixed reality with more planning than a simple wave shooter.
3. HoverLap
HoverLap is a compact arcade racer where your body is the steering control. Lean into a corner and the craft follows; there are no thumbsticks sitting between you and the line. It is built around chasing better laps through neon tracks, so this is the one to try if you want a quick physical score-chasing session rather than a long campaign.
4. Dystopia
Dystopia is a free-to-play Early Access rhythm game where you slice incoming crystals with two blades. Its extra hook is the music: each session pulls in fresh tracks, and you can save a run to replay a song you liked later. There are five themed stations, difficulty levels from Easy to Insane and unlockable cinematic worlds, which gives it more to do than a basic one-song rhythm demo.
5. Wreck & Relax
Wreck & Relax has a very simple pitch: go into offices, homes and other familiar spaces, then break everything without having to clean up afterwards. Pick things up, throw them, hit them and see what is left. It is an Early Access destruction sandbox, so do not expect a huge finished campaign, but the stress-relief loop is immediately understandable.
What to try first
Start with Roboquest VR if you want the most substantial action game of the five. Go for Cybercore Protocol if you want your actual room in the game, or Dystopia for a free session. You can browse more fresh listings through AltLab’s new Quest games.
