Great workout game!

I am loving this. A lot of VR games only make use of arms but this one makes you use your legs, which is exactly what I was looking for. And it's very affordable! I highly recommend this. There are multiple options such as Train, Fight, Workout, Wing Chun, etc. The Train option gives you 3 tiers with 5 levels each and can be switched up to expert. You can only proceed to the next level if you cleared the previous one. So I'm still at level 8, but it's a lot of fun! Workout option is also very good. It allows you multiple settings too. The Fight option is hard for me right now but I think that's going to be a lot of fun when I get better reflexes!

Really excellent

I took kung fu for years and was surprised and happy to see that this game, as much as possible really replicates the actual art. There are numerous clever ways of training including a moving opponent that’s my favorite part. 5 stars to the devs.

As a Chinese Kung Fu practitioner…

Hi devs. I appreciate the effort in creating a Kung Fu game. It’s honestly not a bad attempt and I do enjoy the light workout it provides. However as a Chinese Kung Fu practitioner I have higher hopes in that the game produces more historical and cultural accuracy. Terms like Dojo which describe a Japanese martial arts school should be changed to Mo Kwoon or Wu Guan as that’s a Chinese term. Also, try to involve actual Wing Chun, Hung Gar, etc. teachers to show you the forms so you can put them into the game. That way people can actually learn all of the forms such as the fist forms and wooden dummy forms in real life, instead of just bashing a wooden pole at random. Wouldn’t that be a cool idea? If you need help just reach out and ask me as I study both Wing Chun and Hung Gar and I can help with the game.

Great potential..but.....

First few levels i was convinced this was gonna be a great tool as a martial artist. I was excited. My biggest problem is martial arts is about being in a stance, powerblocks and punches, getting reset for the next attack or strike. The game focuses too much on unrealistic 100% perfection when blocking and hitting, yet send a sword and a hit mat simultaneously forcing you to hit and dodge off-balance. That would never happen in a real fight or match. Better off making it faster, focusing on power, speed and not so much on dead on accuracy on the timing. For me it went from a great training tool for hand eye coordination...to a game i just cant beat. I wasn't looking for a game.

It's alright but the martial arts is meh

I've seen other practioners complaining and well I can see why got to around level 9 and the detection for timing and range will just complete break even the detection in general will break punches read as blocks or misses even when hit perfectly punches expect you to punch when something has gotten way to close and you only have your arm about a quarter of the way out and the block timing just feels very inconsistent sometimes you have to block very far out (bad structure and too open in the real world) or you have to block super close for no reason take out the fixed distance and timing thing the fit more in line with real life and it wouldn't be a bad training game but in its current state it is very meh I was expecting more as well like the wing chun wooden dummys and all that fun stuff
