Enjoyable But Want Authentic Tennis

Fun game but, for me, shots are too easy to make/very forgiving, and some shots are just not at all possible (i.e. lobs). Slicing is inaccurate and a little frustrating if you're looking for a realistic experience. This game is good for what it is, very creative and a great escape. But PLEASE tell me someone is developing a realistic tennis game, on a realistic court, with realistic movements, strokes, bounce, etc. How can there not be an app for this yet?

Excellent Game

Its a good game not only for the game fun itself but as a workout also. When i played the demo, i thought it was only letting you see just a part of the content of the game, so that you would buy for the more content in the full game. But, i was very dissapointed to find just the 3 games - Tennis , Bowling and Basketball. I played Bowling against CPU, but after winning literally all games and after about 50 minutes or so , i was bored with repetitive game play , tasks . This goes for the other two games. It really needs more to ( in my opinion ) , relate to the cost of £22.99 . There is un- lockble achievments through out. Game graphics and sound is 100%, as is the game mechanics . My end of review, is that, if , there is an update, I hope there will be, it includes more game content to play and maybe other additions to make the user keep on playing. For a really good game that this is , it is let down by the low game content. Hence i gave 4 stars , other wise it would of got full 5 stars. If they get more reviews about this, i see this game going a flop.

First impressions are deceiving

First let me say the demo of this didn't impress me. The wacky "scramble" aspect might be good for small kids or a drunken party, but I like actual sports games. So I forgot about it for months. Then someone on Facebook recommended it and explained the "scramble" can be turned off, so I decided to give it another chance. Well, it can be turned off but requires several steps, and I wish there was a way to turn it off permanently. I will NEVER want to play tennis with a fish for a racket. Even so, I played for about 10 minutes and felt sure I'd be asking for a refund. But then I came back and increased the difficulty levels. This makes it more of a serious game (despite the whimsical blobs in the audience). So I'd say if you have kids, this game on easy is great for them. But on harder levels adults can enjoy it too. The bowling is a waste of time if you have ForeVR Bowl, but weirdly Oculus has no actual tennis games apart from table tennis and Racket NX (which is quite intense and worth a purchase too). This is actual tennis and quite fun. Then I tried the baseball, skeptically, because I didn't expect much. This turned out to be practically the best part of the app. It's a lot like Kinect Sports baseball, with you switching between batting and pitching (the computer runs the bases for you). Again, aside from the silly blobs you play with, this feels like real baseball. I was impressed. What I like best about the app is you can play it standing in one spot, and as someone with a very small space that's appreciated. As someone else said, it's been around awhile with no updates for just as long, which is a shame, I'd like to see new stuff added. I don't think this is worth full price, but a sale price is definitely worth it!

MultiPlayer w/Friends IS WORKING!!

Update #4 - In case this has happened to anyone else, I'm happy to report that the "play with friends" aspect of Sports Scramble’s multi-player is once again working for us and its back to being our favorite app! Turns out the problem was ours and not completely with the game. My son kept showing as off-line and the game didn’t see that he really was on-line and therefore we couldn’t invite each other to play. We could however play in the regular multi-player but that meant we couldn’t chose the game and mode. To fix it we finally figured out that he needed to log onto his Meta account on his PC’s browser where a few years back (when it was Oculus) he had selected the option to appear off-line, and completely forgot that. So despite making the phone app show he was online, this was still out there. Well now that he’s changed that to appear on-line everything is working again!

Liked it but now it's garbage

don't want to put up with the aggravation. Multiplayer basically doesn'texist. Every time we try to use it, it says "player offline. Internet speed always tests good (average 230Gbps) I've read all the help articles, watched YouTube about issue, and even factory reset my quest. I used to plY this game regularly, but now it's once a month or less to see if they've done anything about it As others have already commented - Oculus denies any responsibility, and the developer does not respond at all. HiGhLy AgGrAvAtInG ! !
