Mom says “BEST GAME EVER”

My mother suffers from rheumatoid arthritis among other health issues. Years ago she was much more active than she can be today. She is not bedridden but she suffers pain every day, and she can’t play tennis anymore. Tennis was a huge passion in my mother’s life, and she played many times per week when I was younger. Unfortunately mom hasn’t been on the tennis court in years because she physically cannot run around the asphalt anymore. Well I purchased “Racket Nx” just hoping that it would be fun. We enjoyed the “Eleven” table tennis game so I figured why not. This game has been nothing short of a revelation in my mother’s life. She repeatedly says “BEST GAME EVER!” When she is playing this game. She always says how wonderful it is to play tennis again. Now we understand that this is not actual tennis...but this game is an amazing instrument that can easily inspire and encourage anyone that can’t run around a tennis court anymore. This game is fun, exciting, and a great way to lose weight. Mom is down 20 pounds, and “Racket Nx” is definitely a part of that. This game ROCKS!

One handed awesomeness!

After looking for games that could be played one-handed, we came across this gem. Our son, who has one functioning hand, can now properly get involved in some heavy competition without any hesitation or thought. Very impressed with the simplicity but very well executed gameplay. No sense of motion sickness either, which is a brilliant achievement in itself.

New discoveries inhance game!

I have been playing this game for over a year and a half, and I love this game. But I just discovered two things that makes this game even better! While you are in the game, you can alternate your racket between left and right hand. All of this time I didn't know that! I discovered it by accident and my enjoyment of this game has gone up a level! I love that ability in the game. The second thing is the Zen mode. I did notice this from the beginning, but I'm not much into Zen so I immediately discounted it. Recently, just for kicks, I decided to try it. Now I am kicking myself. The difference between Zen mode and the other modes is that there is no life bar, so you don't have to worry about hitting the blue plusses for life or accidentally hitting the orange skulls which takes your life down. I still get my exercise, but I can go as long as I want and not worry about the game ending abruptly because I lost too much life. I LOVE this game!

Psst...

Devs, have you guys/other gender/other, other gender/other, other, other gender checked out Bounce Arcade? Five minutes into playing it I thought "this has so many game mechanics that are CLEARLY lifted from Racket NX, it has to be the same development team" dun dun duh...it isn't. Normally I wouldn't care but Racket NX was the first game I bought years ago for my Quest 2 and I still not only play it but still use it as a tool when I'm trying to get someone into VR and it NEVER fails.

Great Workout

You whack a ball and destroy stuff. No crazy rules to remember like tennis. Just get the ball to the targets, and the harder you hit it the longer it sticks to the dome plowing through targets. They have modes where a life bar counts down and you die if you don't hit health targets. But, you can play arcade zen mode, which is infinite life and infinite play. Perfect for a workout where I just want to switch my brain off and zone out. The music is pumping, and the ball is zooming. Initially I was change controller to other hand to even out the work. But, by accident I clicked the trigger on the other controller, and the racket changes hands! Instant game changer, bc you can use both controllers and just switch hands as needed! I don't know why the tutorials didn't mention that. I wfh, and play this for 1/2 hr during lunch for a quick workout, and it's been a great stress reliever.
