The Best HG Simulator

I have over 30 years of experience as a hang glider pilot and previously owned the first HG simulator from Wilco about 20 years ago. After trying out various alternatives, I am thoroughly impressed with the realism of the Quest 3 Standalone version simulator. The air texture and wing behavior feel incredibly authentic, mimicking the response of a real novice-level Hqng Glider at different speeds. I appreciate the convenience of having the glider trimmed to best glide speed, allowing for a smooth transition from the speed bar to the joysticks on the controllers. The multiplayer option has allowed me to share the sky and experiences with other users through convenient VHF radio communication. Sharing a thermal and putting into practice the flying traffic rules gives it a sense of realism that I had only experienced in real life flights. This simulator is a valuable tool for improving overall technique, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in free flying. I acknowledge that it is still a work in progress, but even in its current state, it stands out as the best choice in the market.

Motion Sickness

I have been flying real paragliders for several years and am used to controlling a wing for several hours at a stretch in real life. This simulation is the best paragliding simulation I know. The graphics are sufficiently good. The simulation is great! I played it in a real harness and it's actually fantastic VR in Most ways... ...... Now for the but: This game on the MetaQuest 3 makes me incredibly nauseous. I can play VR first-person shooters for hours and everything is fine. But this simulator makes my stomach turn after just 5 minutes in simulatet thermal conditions. Pleased find a way o geti rid of this motion sickness effect. OK! Thanks I tried it an this "Keep Head leveled" Option and flying without my real harness just sitting in a chair works good..... Now it it is just the best paragliding simulaion I know. I did a 60 minutes flight today without any motion sickness = 5 stars now!

One of my favorites!!! Changed my life!

I love this game!!!!! I play it almost daily. It literally got me into paramotoring and I completed my training school this past summer. The instructor was amazed at my flight and landing skills and I 100% attribute it to this game. It's really therapeutic just soaring around in the wind in the mountains with the birds!! ***Big thanks to Joey at 5D realities for his relentless updating of the game!!** Looking forward to the new maps/Earth online update!!!!

Great

I used to fly hang-gliders a while ago (I'm over 60 now). This app is as close as you can get to the real thing. I got very nostalgic being able to fly in VR, some of the sites in Europe that I used to frequent. It nearly bought a tear to my eye. Thank you for making this app
