Golf + is a life saving game.

Golf + has allowed me to enjoy the game again. As a Cancer survivor with severe neuropathy, i could not do the walk anymore and have missed the time my son & I used to enjoy. Now, with Golf+ we enjoy the game together more times than we used to. Chance from Golf+ was amazing with a support issue we had. Not too shabby that this 70 yr old can play awesome courses 3, even 4 times a day. Love it and cannot get enough ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Saved by GOLF+

In april I was diagnosed with cancer so the summer of 2025 was a battle, lost 20 kg an couldn't play golf at all. Now the tumors are gone and I am recovering. I bought a Meta Quest 3s and GOLF+! Best thing I have done! Now I can play VR-Golf anytime I want. In Holland it rains a lot, so in wintertime I can play wherever I want!

Removed the reason many users bought it

I bought the game on the promise of topgolf and pro putt, I do not remember clearly, but full courses may have been added when I bought it. If they were, I did not care for them. In the press release for golf+, they reaffirmed their full support for all 3 modes equally. Since then, the topgolf mode has been removed for licensing reasons, and pro putt has been removed because they realised they didn't feel like bothering to support it. The game no longer resembles the relaxing/fun golf experience that many other users and I paid for. They have cut away at the experience to chase the infinite profit of selling new courses. If removing pro putt was about having a focused golf+ app, why not release it as a separate downloadable? If I could go back and tell myself 4 years ago that it was all a lie and not to buy the game, I would.

Lot of fun!

Is Golf+ as realistic as a sim? No. But it’s really dang good for what it’s worth. It seems to be quite accurate with swing mechanics. I’ve already been practicing with it a lot to improve my swing. I’ve taken videos of myself swinging and have noticed some real improvements. Also, it’s just fun to be able to play something in the winter months. Definitely beats not playing at all. My friend and I still laugh about how we can hop on together and play a round. 5 stars.

Buying courses is awful

I changed my review to 1 Star. The fact you can't just buy the game and get a bunch of courses is ridiculous. You get 4 courses for the cost of the game. Subscriptions or course purchases are ridiculously high. Don't get excited thinking this is like an old Tiger Woods video game where you get a bunch of courses. We're sadly in a time where in-game purchases rule the world. Golf+ is no different. I stopped playing the game pretty quickly because only getting a few courses and playing those same courses without any incentive to play more to unlock things doesn't appeal to me.
