So far so good

Don't bother with Side quest or developer mode etc for adding your photos to the quest. There's an easier way. Just use your Google photos account. Add your PNG files to your Google photos account. Then in meta quest bring up the browser and login to your Google photos account. Find the PNG you want and download it. Then in the Contour app go to the menu and the download folder and voilà there is your photo. I would imagine this would work the same for Drop Box as well. 👍

Please Bring Back Flicker in Adjust Mode

I’ve loved using Contour for my VR drawing workflow, especially the ability to project and align reference images. Before the recent update, you could flicker the image on and off with the “A” button while in the “Adjust” menu—this was absolutely essential for perfect alignment. Now, that flicker function is only available in the “Draw” menu, where you can’t move the image. Being able to flicker and move the image at the same time made it possible to compensate for the occasional image drift or software hiccup. Without that option, alignment is much harder and feels less precise. I really hope the flicker function returns to the “Adjust” menu—it made a huge difference. Still love the app overall, and I know it’s growing!

Great potential with some issues still

Hi, is there a way to contact the developers? I have it working great and in mid paint it can either jump to somewhere else about a meter or two away from the pinned surface even at a new angle or it mover around 3/4 pixels every time I walk away from it for a few minutes? I would love to chat to someone to see if there is a better way to keep it fully locked. I am in draw mode when using it as directed…..

Did exactly what I wanted the first try

I’m I didn’t download this app first because the reviews were so horrible. I went thru every software out there for drawings/painting/mural making this software though the last one I tried worked right away didn’t give any trouble working with my own reference drawings quick and easy thank God. Trust me go with this one if your looking to lay down some art using your own pics

Amazing App

Guys I’ve been doing graffiti since I was 14 and I’m 33. The only way to make sense out of this overall rating is that people using this are either new to murals and walls or technologically find it hard to jump on a new app. Within 5m from installing I had the picture low opacity, straighten on my wall perfectly adjusted waiting to get traced. It’s honestly amazing! Great job to the team!!
