I am a 38 yr old out shape Mom. I started playing this and got other work out apps, but the is by far the BEST! I can’t get motivated to squat or work out, but when your dodging bullets to music and accuracy prevents you from dodging more bullets count me in! Amazing settings, I started with some accessibility modifiers on like extra amour, but now I do dev recommendations and my legs feel like rubber bands but I can’t stop playing. I highly recommend to anyone wanting a workout or easing into it. Great graphics not dizzy or nauseous! Great game!

When this game came out, I thought it was pretty good, some good songs and simple yet satisfying gameplay. Since then, with the numerous updates it has received, it has only gone from strength to strength. You can tell that the developers really learnt from the earlier levels as the later ones became more and more dynamic and better at integrating the level's song. Over the years this has become a robust experience and best of all, the new levels have all been completely FREE. This is the type of dev behavior that we ought to be encouraging

This game is the perfect game for the Quest platform. At its core, Pistol Whip is a 90's on the rails shooter with a rhythm mechanic ... but it's so much more. The graphics are beautiful yet low poly. The game loop is cut into bite sized pieces which is good for a platform with limited battery life. Pistol Whip is pure nostalgia for a nearly 50 year old man who used to party way more than he ever should have. It's an electronica party mixed with an on-the-rails shooter mixed with a rhythm game equipped with the visuals that came with the blatant drug use of the late 90's, early 2000's rave scene. It also makes violence uncomfortably fun in the vein of John Wick. I would also like to point out that unlike other rhythm games it is not pay to play, everything is unlockable through gameplay. The game manages to cater to almost all gamers. If you are a perfectionist, there are truly competitive leader boards. If you just want to compete against yourself, multiple campaigns and difficulty levels provide plenty of challenges without the pursuit of perfection. In short this game will overload your brain with the best possible audio visual experience available on the quest platform while providing a rewarding experience regardless of the type of gamer you are. Buy it now thank me later.

I almost didn't buy this game after seeing the photos. I thought the graphics looked boring. Just trust me & try it.. its fun & easy to play. It's definitely a workout, dodging bullets. But you can also adjust many settings to make it easier, i.e. they don't shoot at you so theres nothing to dodge. Even my 6-year-old niece enjoys it. The user-created songs are awesome, too. I didn't realize they were there for months & now those are almost all I play. This is my 2nd most played game & after 4 months, I still play almost daily. No complaints.

The game is great, but it would be nice to have some scenes that are just basic. Maybe a road through a mining town in the wild west, with standard wooden buildings. No flashy colours and dizzying movement and wild music. Or even maybe travelling through a wood with trees etc. but again less flashy colours and graphics.
