Smooth locomotion is needed

I recently downloaded the Home Design 3D VR app and I have been thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. The app allows you to easily design and visualize your dream home in virtual reality. The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it accessible for users of all skill levels. One of the standout features of the app is the ability to walk through your designs in VR, giving you a true sense of how the space will feel once completed. The graphics are highly detailed and realistic, making it easy to envision your finished project. However, one feature that I would love to see added is smooth locomotion. Currently, the app only allows for teleportation-based movement, which can be disorienting and breaks immersion. Adding smooth locomotion would greatly enhance the overall experience and make it feel even more realistic. Overall, I highly recommend the Home Design 3D VR app to anyone looking to design their dream home in virtual reality. The app is well-designed, user-friendly and a great tool for visualizing your designs. I hope to see the addition of smooth locomotion in future updates.

Great potential but needs work

I'm building a house IRL and have been looking for an app to visualize the final product and being able to discover potential problems before facing them IRL. This app caught my attention and seemed to fit my needs. I quickly realised it was rather limiting when building the outer walls when the smallest measure is one metre. That's not good enough and needs to be more precise. Also not being able to put in measures for room height. I also didn't see a way to build a second floor with an angled ceiling but I may have missed something, I need to put some more work into it. I guess when it comes to decorating and designing the rooms it will be fun and really useful. I hope the devs keep updating and improving the app, great potential for sure.

The Audacity to Charge For This…

I bought this expecting to do what it advertised, and boy was I wrong. There’s virtually no customization, no snap-to-grid, and and embarrassing low supply of options to “build with” or “where”. There’s so many blueprints for this type of editing tool that they could have immulated, idk how it’s so bad. If this was free I would have deleted and forgot all about it. $20 deserves a review though. The fact that theyre charging for an unbelievably empty app that’s been around for a long time is insane. Make it better, or make it free.

I have been looking for this for years

Finally found a super easy pick up and design/visualize in 5 minutes VR app. The only complaint I have is that the max floorplan is limited to a square design of 20m x 20m (tiles)I think. I happen to have a very narrow house with a shop space of 5m x 36m. So this was not possible to draw up and visualize. I hope the devs read this and limits the design by tiles and not by shape. Recommended app!

Mediocre

For a room or 2, it works. If you want to design a house, forget about it. Pros: Easy to lay out walls, throw in pre-made furniture, and step into VR to look around. Cons: Cannot stretch rooms or walls. Must manually destroy walls an rebuild. Tedious if you just want to shove rooms over a bit. Staircase could not be stretched. Very hard time positioning windows. Or anything else for that matter. This looks like a promising framework that was never completed nor polished. Cost should be about 7 or so. Fun to experiment with, but it will probably not accomplish what you really want.
