Subscription Required, should be in titl

I was conned into one of these other anatomy apps where I was tricked into paying a yearly fee that I cannot get a refund on. This should not even be available to the general public unless the real purpose is stealing money.

Hate it

The second I loaded in it told me to pay. I really don’t like it and I don’t appreciate it at all. It looks such a fun game. I got I read the reviews that didn’t look pretty good. I agree with those reviews. I just really wanted to play this game I just wanted to test the reviews. The reviews didn’t look so good . Very mad and disappointed.

⚠️ UX Disaster & Hostageware Onboarding

The Truth: The actual utility of "Bodyworks" is entirely overshadowed by one of the most abrupt and aggressively non-transparent onboarding experiences I have encountered on the Meta Quest platform. Details of the Systemic Failure: • Rude Onboarding: The First Impression is Fatal. After installing the app (on a free trial basis), the initial screen was an immediate, non-negotiable paywall. The messaging was astonishingly poor, effectively stating: 'Pay now or press the big exit button,' with zero mention of the actual cost or where to subscribe within the VR environment. This feels less like a product and more like hostageware. • The Transparency Gap: A product that immediately demands payment without showing the price is a fundamental user experience failure. It forced me to exit VR, open the phone-based Meta Horizon app, and hunt for the pricing information. • The Price Shock: The lack of clarity is likely deliberate. The price model—at approximately $10/week or nearly $100 per year—is an exorbitant fee for a single app in this category. The subscription model is not the sin; the total lack of upfront disclosure is the professional offense. Final Verdict & Warning: This is not just a poor pricing choice; it is a communication breakdown and a user-hostile design decision. Apps that employ such manipulative, non-transparent monetization tactics should not pass basic store requirements. I understand that developers need to be compensated, but this approach treats the user with contempt. I do not support any model that attempts to trap a user into commitment before revealing the cost. Action for Users: Proceed with extreme caution. Factor in the immediate friction and price shock before committing to the download. Action for Developer: Fix your onboarding. State the exact subscription terms clearly and politely upon entry. Prioritize the user experience over your funnel conversion rate—or continue to earn 1-star reviews for aggressive UX design.
