Ziggy's Cosmic Adventures is a VR cockpit game combining ship management with action-arcade combat. You play as a (sometimes effective) bounty hunter with possibly questionable morals, currently in possession of a powerful little alien that you may or may not have stolen/liberated from the evil Empire. As the Empire closes in, you'll need to find a way to balance your ship's management with the onslaught of attacks. Do you have what it takes to survive?
• Become one with the ship: Immerse yourself in a cockpit packed full from ceiling to floor with distinct physics-based interactions (Though make sure to keep your eye on them all if you want to survive!).
• Rebel against The Empire: Engage in thrilling dogfights as squads of enemies pursue you to re-capture the small green treasure aboard your ship - shoot bullets, launch bombs, and raise your shields. It's going to get bumpy!
• Navigate the vacuum of space: Control the ship with a radical and easy-to-use virtual flight stick design, dodge your way through hazardous space environments, and don't forget to do a barrel roll!
• The little guy: Who could forget your cosmic friend, Ziggy?! This mysterious creature is a perfect fuel source. You can also play with them, use them as a resource, feed them, and most importantly pet them!
• The Journey: Fight your way through 13 unique levels total. Forge a different path each time by beating challenges and unlocking harder worlds en route.

The game is Amazing it’s main mechanic is power transferring and does it well but it is some times scary. And to the developers please make a sandbox where you just fly the ship and do tasks without any confrontation. I pre ordered the game and it has so much play time so it was all I expected for a game I waited 3 years for. But add sandbox

This is what VR needs. Smooth and immersive flying, satisfying interactions, great physics, and the cutest alien in the world. Most VR games fail to fully immerse you into the game, this one doesn't. Going too slow? Push the throttle forward with your hands. Urgently need your shields before you go kaboom? Flip a switch. One of your systems are out of energy? Slide a charged battery into a slot. Everything is interactive, and you never need to use your controller buttons. Speaking of never using your controllers, this game supports hand tracking, which makes everything a million times better (though it is quite buggy at the moment). And to make things even better, you have a cute green alien friend named Ziggy, who you can pet, or punch if you're a psycho. 😅 But all good things come to an end, and that includes Ziggy. The batteries don't charge by themselves, you need to sacrifice Ziggy's energy to power them (which may result in Ziggy dying, decomposing, and requiring you to eject him out the back of the ship, yikes 😬). In the end, this game is an extremely fun spaceflight experience, with addicting mechanics, a story mode, arcade mode, and a lot more content soon to come. Anyways, I'm gonna get back to petting Ziggy now, bye!

I got some money for my birthday and chose to spend it on this game and it was worth it. I remember 3 years ago I saw some videos on TikTok. I followed the series for some months but it ultimately became forgotten. But just a few days ago I found the game in the store and memories came back. I chose to buy the game mostly blind, which can be a risk but this time it worked out and I’ve had a great time with it. I would recommend this to anyone who is considering buying.

My hardest game to review. I like it for the all the opposite reasons I thought I would. The good first: I didn’t know I’d like the management of the ship but it’s amazing it keeps you involved in the game and makes you feel grounded in the ship. The not so great: the combat feels like a second thought it feels more like an on rails shooter the way the ships just fly in and you shoot them but you can’t turn around or go out of the set zones and arrows guide you telling you where to go. To me the worse part is it’s not open ended. The set path and it having the red wall thing takes away from the “IN SPACE” feeling but overall I’d take this space shooter over currently anything else. Just because of what it does well and hope for updates with new modes and such. Definitely worth the money though.

such a good game, feels like the mandolorian from Star Wars and it's so fun, I just wish that it had some sort of semi open world where you complete quests and you can kinda just do it infinitely, if you added this, then this game would literally be one of the best vr games I have ever played, but even without it, it's an amazing game and I couldn't recommend it more
