Nice but

Best mech game you can get. but story is too slow,like you walking for 30 mins then fight for 5 mins. And they are talking too much while i just want to ride a robot and shoot some stuff. And this game have zero comfortable option on cockpit ,so you will need strong vr immunity to play this game.

The Mech game I've been searching for!

Ever since I purchased MechWarrior 2 in the middle 90s I've been searching for another more modern mech game that gave the real feeling of being in a huge heavily armed mech. Battletech in the Arcades came close, and Steel Battalion on the original Xbox came closer (once I built a cockpit around it), but not quite the thrill I was looking for, until now... This is the game I have craved for 25 long years! The Oculus Quest handles it nicely, you really feel like you are inside the physical space of your cockpit, you see your armor fly away as you are being hit, your Arms fly off with their weapons, you loose a leg and hop around on the one that remains, hell sometimes it gets taken off too and all you can do is hop around with your jump jets... Great fun!!! I had several other mech games on my Oculus, but they're gone now. Home... at... last!!! Someone, pass the ammo, I'm going in!

BEST MECH GAMER EVERRRRRRRR!!!

Just started playing this having never played any type of game like this except maybe a mech game I had on my mobile once... but this game... I've read sooo many mixed reviews n I was sooo unsure of getting this, watched over 30 different reviews half good, half bad so was literally on the edge for it, haven't played the multiplayer part yet only tried 1 level and after watching other people try it on YouTube and die alone on first level so here is me thinking I've got no chance gona b tough as fck.... but nope not at all, I didn't die once!! Thought the combat was quite easy and fun.. IN MY OPINION: GRAPHICS - 8/10 Graphics are good but could be better for the ground. MOVEMENT - 10/10 You can either teleport or have smooth movement, smooth turning or snap turning. GAMEPLAY - Easy or hard depending how good at vr gaming you are (not that hard unless you don't touch vr much) SOUND - Really well done dont listen to music in games... so least you can turn it off. SICKNESS - I did feel sickly to start with but it wore off after 5 mins, you can put blinders on to help if you feel to sick. UPDATED... MULTIPLAYER - Loads of fun especially with the walkie talkie, only problem I have is you overheat fast and when you do your systems shut down n your rig is useless until its cooled down, so you can't move or shoot for 10-15seconds if you use your guns too much and overheat your mech, be better if it took abit more shooting to overheat the mech it happens too fast n is really frustrating!!. Oh n you can skip dialogue or the hub area bits with the B button on the right controller, or press the bottom left button on your left controller, with the lines on and it will take you back to your mech for next level if you don't want to hunt for things and just do the main mech missions. Hope you find this review useful and buy the game... or not entirely up to you but thanks for taking the time to read my review. :) Ps, couple days later.. daily I play a mission then afterwards I jump into an online battle to have fun blowing up another rig with a real player inside, using the walkies is a fun new idea... I'm soo blown away by this game... Love the jump jets and the different planets the graphics are very similar to the psvr1 version of no man's sky for base ps4... but with no screen door effect. I'm playing on stand alone quest2 as I have no pc! Get this game you won't be sorry and only 5gb download size...

This game is definitely a "must have"

Extremely addictive gameplay, coupled with what is hands down the most awesome and nicest community in gaming. There is a steep learning curve, but lots of people who are willing to give you tips along the way. Update: The latest update "Hostile Conditions" took this game to a whole new level! This has set the bar extremely high for every other vr game to come. There simply isn't a better, more immersive experience available on the quest platform!

Impulse Buy = Impulse Review

I bought this game immediately because I thought: oh yeah! giant robot mech battles! And so, here's a similarly impulsive review. I might update this after some more time playing with it, but so far I'm happy. PRO: oh yeah! giant mech battle! PRO: The mech has a trucker horn that goes honk honk whenever you pull on it and I think that's awesome. PRO: You can control the mech realistically by manipulating the various doohickeys in the mech vehicle and/or you can map your controller to do the movements. neat! PRO: Some of the voice acting is good. CON: The UI for remapping the controls is cumbersome. Just give me a list of every function and then let me assign whatever I want to it. Don't break it up by which part of which controller, that's only going to slow things down. CON: While some of the voice acting is pretty good, I can quickly tell that the voice of the mech's computer is going to get on my nerves. The sound of it is a little off to my ears, and also it's a bit repetitive telling you where to go while you're still on your way. CON: You'll need to take some time to orient yourself to the controls. It's not un-learnable or anything but you don't get to dive right in to kicking butt like you might with a more intuitable FPS interface. I think the story is a bit tongue-in-cheek. If you expect the cinematic narrative you might get from the Halo games for example, then you aren't really going to care much for the "drama" here, but if you're more inclined to take a "oh yeah, mech battle!" attitude like me then, well maybe you can just chuckle at the story parts and blast your way through. Overall, I expect this game to be fun and I don't regret the impulse buy.
