Platforming in VR (where you play as a human being) finally !! Been waiting for a game like this for ages. Very fun and a decent workout (especially if you're going for speed). A little rough around the edges and the movement takes a little getting used to, but still great fun and a gem that I highly recommend.

I'm a big fan of VR climbing, parkour, etc (eg Stride, No More Rainbows, Battle Talent) and I'm enjoying this game. I'll be replaying levels to improve my time like I did with Stride or The Climb. The maps are huge and they made the effort to include voice actors. They lean a bit on the Portal style, which I didnt like in the beginning. But it has some charm and decent sense of humour. Now some aspects of the game are a bit rough and can be improved, but this is a solid start and I hope the game gets the traction it deserves.

*Full video review over on my YouTube channel* Ventures Gauntlet has come over from the PC to the Quest and its exellent. A very hard VR Obstacle course over 9 levels. Jumped in with Clickster and we had so much fun. The game mechanics of running with your arms swinging, climbing walls, ropes, dodging lasers there is everything and the levels are quite long also. Multiplayer is coming but what there is now is a huge workout and i was sweating by the end of it. Totally worth it if you are looking for a new workout title with a twist.

Game needs a major patch to fix movement issues - and these issues are prevalent and annoying. Walking is basically useless. You move nowhere and I'm sure a snail has more speed. If you want to be careful with movement, then walking needs to be a decent rate. Grabbing is very broken with the grip not working many times and then when you try to pull yourself up from a ledge it becomes worse. Every single time, trying to pull up either doesn't work, or launches me somewhere else. Also there's still no smooth turning, are you kidding?! VR is supposed to be more advanced and you continue to omit the most basic of turn styles - and make people use click turning? Also, the price was $11.99 CAD for so long, then all of a sudden it jumped to $19.99, yet there's still issues. What kind of scam is that? This is fun, sometimes, but until there's a fix you should save your money.
