Perfection Perfected!

Titans of Space has been in the lexicon of VR enthusiasts for quite some time now, and for good reason. With its rousing soundtrack, amazing visuals and guided tour, from its first release on the DK1, it has long been a favourite title of mine and many others. I wouldn't have thought you could perfect perfection - but Drash has knocked it out of the park with this new PLUS version. The improvements are too numerous to mention, but perhaps the most striking for me was the inclusion of a fully narrated tour. It's really fantastic, and managed to recapture that feeling of childlike wonder and awe I felt when I first tried Titans of Space on the DK1. For the money, you will NOT find a better experience on the Gear VR. Heck, for ANY money you wont! For those with the original version - is it worth the upgrade? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!

A Must-Have VR Experience

One of the best edutainment VR programs available. Well paced and appropriate music. You truly do get a feel for the size of the stars. The only things I can complain about are minor nitpicks, such as the static avatar that doesn't interact with the motion controller, or not seeing a change in planetary movements caused by the stars in the finale.

Nice but needs some improvements

It's nice but could use come improvements: The music volume needs to be reduced so you can hear the narrator better. The frame of the space craft is in the way when traveling around blocking the view would be nice to have the ability to turn it off. The onscreen narration should also be optional (have a way to turn it off).

A Must Buy!

One of my favorite apps has always been Titans of Space. I always used it to show off how amazing VR can be. And as someone fascinated by all things space, it was borderline perfect. The second I saw a Plus version, I purchased it. I couldn't be happier I did. This expands upon the original with so many more details and more information for each planet/moon. Including real pictures! I loved that. The narration is also very well done. I thought I might get annoyed by it but it was like watching a documentary. $5 is literally nothing for the hard work that had to go into this. And imagine the original was FREE! I spend more $ on snacks. If anyone is on the fence, don't be, this is worth every penny.

Absolutely fantastic for all ages!

This is essentially a passive planetarium-like educational tour, but for what it is, it does most everything right; it takes the passenger through the solar system, showing planets and moons in relative size, and provides facts and current scientific hypotheses in regards to the heavenly bodies you visit. It is very careful to tell the viewer that science is fluid, and that some of the knowledge will change and evolve as we explore more. Not to spoil anything, but if the ending of this program doesn't give you chills, you're doing it wrong. The models of the planets and stars are nicely presented, although some little details like eclipse shadows are nowhere to be found, which disappoints, but only a little. There are also no planetside locations, which isn't strictly speaking necessary, but would have been interesting to see. Anyway, I loved it, and definitely found it worth a purchase.
