This game is really good. It really immerses you into this weird world. Easy to catch with only one button and analog stick even a non gamer will get really fast into it, but as it goes it gets challenging. My complaint is that playing this in quest 2 thought seems worst than I thought. The screen seems like having the screen door effect. Please make this update so that is played as it deserves!

This is my first review after purchasing over 50 games on Oculus. To be honest reviews I saw for this game were misleading and led me to buy this useless game here is the reason why. The Vehicle that looks like a beetle hardly does anything, or move at all, it's on this bloody track that has abstract geometry moving, well yes it looks good and that is all about it. There is hardly any movement or any action. Even this beetle jumping or turning is hardly noticeable. So to me it's a bloody roller coaster buggy that you have almost zero control of and does not do anything. Sorry note to the Developer, but you should have made it a bit more engaging with the gameplay I mean the vehicle movements, some enemies maybe, some obstacles to jump from, something to catch, some zappers to avoid, path A or Path B to jump to maybe like Skyroad.

This game has such great reviews, and I have seen comments like, terrifying, thrilling etc.. Maybe the game completely changes on later levels, but I played for about 20 minutes and it was one of the most boring experiences in VR I have ever had. Most of the time you stand completely still, and press the A button when prompted.. Sounds terrifying right? There is no reason for this to be in VR, as you never need to move your head or look anywhere but straight ahead. Again, maybe it changes after you put some time into it, but you couldn’t force me to try it again to get to the supposed good part.. So boring! I will be requesting a refund.

If you are looking for something different that what the majority of VR music/rhythm games offer, Thumper may be for you. It is fast and fun. Not too steep of a learning curve, but the difficulty amps up as you progress. The only real problem is that once you play for 20 minutes, you have seen pretty much all it has to offer. That doesn't mean you can't play it for hours, in fact you can, but it just feels like there should be more to it. I would recommend buying if/when on sale, at full price, it might not be worth it.

I love this game, it's my favourite VR rhythm game along with Beat Saber, really unique and challenging. I already played it on different platforms but I wanted the Quest 2 version to play it anywhere. It's really worth it. The only thing that puzzles me is that the graphics are good, but the image looks a little bit noisy/grainy, like it has been compressed. It's a bit of a shame since this game is very good looking and doesn't need much graphical power. If you can fix the visuals, this is an easy 5/5 for me!
