Its pretty fun!
I think its worth it considering the price! Would love to see some new anomalies or maps added in the future. Also fun to let friends play!

You are trapped in an endless underground passageway. Observe your surroundings carefully to reach "The Exit 8".
Make sure not to overlook any anomalies. If you find any anomalies, turn back immediately. If you don't find any anomalies, keep going. Kindly exit through Exit 8.

Bad reviews don’t know how to play
Please read this: This game is about finding differences in the “subway” rooms. If it’s different, turn back. Otherwise keep walking. ITS NOT JUST A WALKING SIMULATOR!! There’s so many different anomalies, when the credits roll PLAY IT AGAIN!! When you play a board game and finish it you don’t say “oh it ended to fast now it’s useless 1 star” YOU PLAY IT AGAIN!! IM TIRED OF THESE UNINFORMED PEOPLE RUINING THIS GREAT GAME!! sidenote: Watch Jaden Williams’ video (search “Jaden Williams EXIT 8”) for a really good playthrough, although he does show some of the anomalies it’s not very much spoiler. sidenote x2: There’s also PLATFORM 8 on steam which is the prequel on the train before this game. Dear devs: What are the new anomalies? Can’t seem to find them. When it resets to 0 but no death (chase, blood pool, etc..) what happened?

Platform 8 next please!
This is a great vr port of an already great game. Its not a horror game like residwnt evil or outlast. This game relies on making you uneasy and overthinking a ton. Its an existenial type of horror. This game perfectly encapsulates the unknown and not knowing what happens next. Great game and i hope to see the sequel here too!

The Exit 8; Uncanny Valley fun!
Just beat this game within less than 30 mins. It's a great title, and honestly, for the money you pay for it, it's a great "party" title to show others new to VR and to give yourself a little terror in your guts. It's very short, with no real new features when you start. Just choose your turning preference and start walking. You can use your hands to smack the businessman's phone out of his hand, make him bend over and slap his 🍑, and you can provoke the anomalies. You might miss a few subtle changes, but beyond a penalty of starting a Exit 0, don't think of any real punishment. Great game in my opinion, and what you pay for is what you get. No issues. As much as I would refund the game after beating it, I think it defeats the purpose of just playing it once. I'll definitely keep this around! Enjoy, and may you exit safely... 🙂🫠

Clever Hidden Hidden Gem 🧠 💎
Seriously I really hope there will be more games like this: straightforward yet surprisingly deep. Each run through the exits brings enough variety to keep things fresh. It did get a little frustrating at times when the exit reset, like we’d think we made it, only to realize we missed something. However, that just pushed us to sharpen our focus and check more carefully next time. The game was seriously impressive. It challenged our minds and heightened our observational skills. I streamed it while my boyfriend helped watch and spot things. Definitely helpful having a second pair of eyes! Not gonna lie, there were moments that genuinely scared me. I felt safer having him there (I’m a girly girl, okay 😅). But we had a lot of fun figuring things out together. A memorable experience all around.
