I first purchased The Climb 2 and love it, completed all stages and came again from the beginning. Then I thought if The Climb 1 was worth it or not, and the answer is YES!! If you enjoy part 2, part 1 is also great. The Climb series is a MUST HAVE experience for me. Come and get it now!!

A very polished and professional looking game. My arms do actually get a work out from this even though I am quite fit. Your shoulders do actually get utilised quite well and the holding up of your arms over 30 minutes does actually leave you feeling like you have done something. Graphics are good although the far distance is a bit lo res. However, you never really look directly at it anyway, its just there in your peripheral vision so it works very well to give you the feeling of a huge landscape. The levels are well graded and offer a good amount of variation as you move around and onto different cliff faces and outcrops and also in and out of the sunlight. Sound is great too with immersive breathing and wildlife adding to the suspense. This also a really good game to show off the Quest 2 to others as you can put them on tourist mode (so no having to chalk up or lose stamina) and let them get a feel for the immersive environments and scary heights! Still haven't completed all of the climbs on here yet but can see myself replaying this in the future as well as there are multiple routes you can take. So as iIget better I will go back to the easy levels and do some crazy jumps as a shortcut to get better times etc. Definite replay value here and quick to load as well, so if you have a 15 minute break you can get a quick climb in and feel like you have been somewhere completely different. Well priced and looking forward to The Climb 2 when that comes out.

Finally bought this game after months of debating, instantly became motion sick and it would only get worst the more I played.i spent no longer than 20 mins playing, I knew this was not for me, I requested a refund only to be denied. This is unacceptable for this game will now sit in my library unplayable. This has now impacted my decision on purchasing any future games from the oculus store.

I used to love this game and considered purchasing The Climb 2, but after re-installing The Climb and trying it again, none of the menus work and it won’t load past the menu screen for me. A pity, I would have enjoyed revisiting this one!

The climb and the climb 2 (just get the bundle) are both amazing games. I have my fingers crossed for a climb 3 but sadly I don't think we will get one. I have played both for countless hours and they were two of the first games I bought years ago when quest 2 first launched. They are both five stars and very fun. It's a climbing simulation game that requires quick thinking, spacial awareness, and confidence. I used to be deathly afraid of heights. When I got these games and first started playing my knees would buckle when I looked down. I would feel nauseous and get vertigo. Not from motion sickness but the crippling fear of heights I had dealt with since I was a kid. But I kept playing and in time I could look down. Eventually I wanted to look down. Because I could. I could do it and not feel fear. It was so empowering to face that fear because I'm not afraid of heights anymore. Irl I can go on rides and go places that I would have never done before when I was afraid of heights. This game showed me that VR was more than games. They were experiences. They could enrich one's life as well as be recreational. So this game will always have a special place in my life. I recommend the climb series to anyone. They are done very well and are classic vr titles.
