Not just legs but the entire body!

Gotta say that I knew of this game but held off thinking it was only legs and not full body. Took the plunge and dang!! It's awesome and is indeed full body with different physical moves equaling different attacks. Just burned 200 calories testing out the various features. Kudos to the dev team!

A perfect game for active gamers!

I've been playing this game since it's first few weeks of release, and it has come a long way since then. I like to work out and get a good sweat on, but it's difficult for me to find motivation to just go for a run or lift weights on the gym. However, with this game I can strap on some arm and leg weights and just grind away! It keeps me motivated to keep burning those calories and hit my fitness goals each week. I love how the game has continued to evolve between graphics updates and new features, like being able to start a new run and get to pick which area of the body to start on. This is absolutely one of my favorite workout games I own, and I've played quite a bit of them trying to find the perfect fit for me. Just wanna give a great shout out to the developers, thank you for this gem of a game. Keep it up, looking forward to campaign mode coming soon!!

A bit pricey but unique and has promise

I played the free version of Fight Fight XR: Squat Strike on Quest 2 mixed reality for about 20 minutes so far, after a session of Synth Riders. Going in, I was unclear on if I'd have to give a credit card to play for free, and the answer was thankfully no. You can avoid paying entirely to access a basic roguelike mode, with everything else being locked behind the paywall. Among your paid options (which require a credit card) are a 7-day free trial after which billing starts at $9 a month, or a lifetime pass for $200, which is currently discounted to $95. So, the roguelike action. I found the combat pretty neat; after initial calibration it's very good at detecting my squat and jab motions, which is all I've used so far. The overall intensity is a bit low in early going, with enemies rarely appearing more than two at a time and frequent "level up" interruptions to choose a perk. I see paid members have a "cardio" mode option that keeps the intensity more constant, cool. Dodging enemy bullets is a bit squirrelly (must you only avoid contact with head? not sure), but just moving around the playspace was usually enough to keep me safe. I also thought grabbing floating coins could've used a more generous hand hitbox. There is some meta progression to power-up perks but I didn't find any of the upgrade items so far. Tip: You really want a skill that breaks shields before that first boss. All told I thought it was pretty cool, but I'm not sure I could justify $9 a month or $95 total yet, much less $200. I'd feel better if the game had a longer track record so I knew it wouldn't have a chance of being abandoned prematurely. There is a current promo for essentially a month for $1, so I will definitely try that at least to see if the current "full" version feels compelling. Overall, I recommend trying it to see what you think. (Confidential to devs: Using all that gaudy, generic AI-generated art in your store page, etc. isn't a great look.)

Wow! I’m addicted.

Killing things with magic and squats, while progressing with new, better powers? Yes, please! What I love about this game is that I don’t realize I’m working out. And yet, I’m so sore the next day. I walk away from it panting, sweating, and dying for water, and I want to get right back into it. I work out regularlywith FunFitLand, Les Mills, and a few other apps, but this one has introduced me to muscles I didn’t know I had. I think this will appeal to people who enjoy fantasy and battle type games., but might be confusing for people who aren’t really gamers. I’m familiar with these kinds of fantasy/progression elements , but I would still love for someone to make a YouTube video explaining it. Overall, a fun gamewith major fitness benefits. I highly recommend it.

Intense as it is imaginative!

“Squatopia” is as intense as it is imaginative This game is definitely on the challenging side — expect lots of squats and crunches — but that’s part of what makes it so satisfying. You’re not just working out; you’re taking down monsters with your boxing jabs and powerful squat maneuvers. It’s a brilliant blend of fitness and fantasy, and the creative concept really shines through. I had a blast, and I’m genuinely excited to see what these developers bring to the VR fitness space next with this program - Keep an eye on them — they’re onto something special!
