I’m giving 4 stars because that’s the kind of app i want to see in VR. I was impatient this to be launched. While i enjoy it, i’m still disappointed this was not optimised for quest 2. Graphics could be a lot better, i hope you will update it on a technical point of view, and more content would be good. Thanx for briging that kind of experience to VR, but please update it!

Reading one of most recent popular reviews, I can't help but disagree. It can't all be slicing squares, shooting zombies and walking on planks. This experience tries to bring an interactive, cinematic experience to VR and it does a good job at that. I'm giving it 5 stars, because if you are a science enthusiast, you enjoy Sci-Fi, you're fascinated by the universe and its weird, mysterious wonderfulness, Spheres will certainly bring a dose of joy and awe. With that being said - I'd like to see better visuals on the Quest 2, I'm sure it's more than capable of handling them, I'd also like to see more meaningful interactions, not just mechanical nudging, pointing and peeking. More episodes will also be great. Perhaps something outside of the realm of astrophysics. Plenty of spheres to explore in the quantum world ;)

I feel bad cause it's the first time I leave a negative review for something. But it was so bad I didn't even finished it, could not tolerate the "artistic" tone. The app feels like the makers are taking themselves too seriously, it's unbearable. They are trying do make something "spiritual" and "epic", but it's not impressive at all, just boring.

As a guy who loves to watch the 360-degree VR space videos on YouTube. The sheer quality of this is terrifying yet so beautiful. It plays as a poem of the universe. I had to take my VR set off just to remember, I'm still at home and not literally being sucked into a black hole! It goes much farther in depth than YouTube VR ever could. Best $10 I've spent yet, just so you know, this is my review after the first 10 minutes. I've got my money's worth in that short time! If you love love LOVE space like I do, you won't regret this!

It's extremely pretty, but if you're expecting to be educated you've come to the wrong place. Its a sort of poetic look at the universe and the "music of the spheres"; it takes the conceit that the planets are singing to each other, and uses scientific terms symbolically rather than scientifically; it even talks about audio waves spreading through space, when audio waves don't exist in a vacuum. And the visuals aren't accurate either, showing our solar system's planets all bunched up around the sun as though they're not very far apart, for instance. I should have been going "ooh" and "ahh" at it, but spent most of my time going What? That's not right!" Definitely not one to buy your kids (or yourself) to teach them about cosmology - it states so many poetic metaphors as if they were facts that they'd come out of it with a completely false view of the universe. It's quite short, too.
