Minimal but satisfying gameplay
This game is a bit barebones (by the creator's own admission) but the core gameplay is very fun. The controls took me a little while to get the hang of, but after adjusting to the unconventional method of holding the controller, it actually turned out to be very responsive and satisfying. One tip: at first it felt like the sensitivity kept dropping out on me, but I realized it was because I was letting the controller tilt forward too far, which seemed to make it lose track of its orientation. My main critique of the game is that, while it's very fun to speed through the obstacles at high speed, there's no actual incentive to go fast. Because it doesn't matter how quickly you finish a level, you're actually sort of punished for going quickly—the speed power ups just make the level harder, and conversely the patches that slow you down help you avoid danger. If there were a time limit on the levels, it would add more urgency and reward you for going as fast as possible. Overall enjoyable, and there's a lot of room for improvement if the developer wants to polish the experience further.
