The Arena leaves Beta
Arena Mode is now a fully fledged feature called “The Arena”. Fight off hordes of enemies through three new maps during both day and night. Collect coins from your fallen enemies, then exchange them for powerful golden weapons to reach new heights of mastery. Manage your weapons carefully though, because in The Arena weapons break, sometimes at the most inopportune moments! Conquer The Arena once, and unlock an Endless version of it, where you can find out what kind of a warrior you really are!
The Behemoth Trials are coming for you
Enter The Behemoth Trials and find yourself on hallowed ground. In this sacred space you can perform a ritual that will allow you to face any of the Behemoths of the campaign immediately, with bespoke loadouts that will maximize your chances of success. Choose to fight Shacklehide and call it a day, or challenge Nightscraper, Dreddstagg then Shacklehide one after the other! The order and number of Behemoths you want to tackle are your choice.

So i played the Walking Dead vr and i was like "surely the devs cant cook harder than this" but i was wrong, just beat the final boss and let me tell you, i would do ANYTHING to wipe my memory of this game and experience it for the first time again, this really pushed the limits of what a vr game can be. I seriously enjoyed every second of this masterpiece , please keep making games like this.

We’d been playing it for a few weeks and it was great fun at first. But now every time we try to launch the game, it just crashes and kicks us out. I’ve tried contacting the game company and haven’t had any response, and after a quick search online it seems like quite a few other people are having the same issue. It’s frustrating, especially considering how expensive the game is.

I use my meta quest as a means of exercise. I jumped to buy this game at 60% off normal price and now wish I had saved my money. It does many things right. I absolutely love the grapple feature. But most of what it does right is completely overshadowed by giving the combat stamina. It makes sense to have stamina when climbing, as it adds a sense of urgency. However, when it comes to VR with motion control, I just can't excuse combat stamina. When using motion controls, my stamina should be the only one that matters. It ruins the immersion, and gives no benefit. I would even be happy if they added a no stamina feature where my attack power was halved. If you are looking for a great game that involves fun combat, get GrimLord instead.

The game used to be one of my favorites. It was fun to play while listening to music once you completed the game on arena mode because it made you feel like a god and you didn’t have to worry about anything. But now after the update, they ruined it. The new maps suck, the weapons break, you have to collect coins in order to get new weapons, and worst of all they make you complete the arena mode before you can just free play it. It wouldn’t be as much of a problem if you could get all those things back, but you can’t. Also I’ve been trying for about 4 months to beat the stupid arena mode to unlock free play and I just can’t do it. If you’re gonna add that feature, at least make it possible. And every time I make it to the very end to defeat the bosses they hit me with one swing and I immediately die. A solid run until the end takes about an hour. So that’s one hour out of your day wasted. It sucks. And yes I tried turning the difficulty down to tenderfoot, but it won’t let you. It stays on standard, which by the way, should not be impossible. Just take these features away. Arena mode used to be just fun to play whenever you finished the story mode. Make it like that again. No one wants the weapon breaking and coin mechanic, and no one wants to waste their time on that stupid challenge AFTER they completed the story mode. It completely ruined a five star game for me. Fix the game devs. I’m so pissed off. If you fix the game, and make it how it used to be, I will change this review back to five stars. FIX YOUR STUPID GAME DEVS

Re purchased this game as seen it in a sale, along with quest games optimiser to smooth out the graphics it actually looks really really good. Combat has an odd weight feel that for me doesnt feel right at all, sometimes you swing and its like your weapon is on a short string so doesnt impact when you hand is there. Played until the first Behemoth fight... now visually with the scale it epic (but i had already seen this done to perfection in Asgards Wrath. Whoever thought the combat with the Behemoth was good needs help. When you finally figure out wtf your supposed to do (after dying around 3 times on the easiest difficulty) I had the plan to rush in, use the grapple to remove the thing and make the first sword strike. It then said to climb its ankle, which after running around its feet dodging and getting smacked with no view of it coming as with it being that big and all you can see is a foot taking up the screen I was nicely smacked by him swinging the ball around still. I finally got onto his leg and started climbing, took out the second blob, it through me off, he fell and killed me. Ill never play it again. How that is supposed to be fun I have no idea.
