Great use of VR
As an avid seeker of art and museum apps, I was delighted to discover this gem. The app offers a museum-like experience where you can examine a curated selection of sculptures from pre-Hispanic Mexico. The high-resolution 3D scans of the artifacts are presented at their actual scale, which is truly impressive. Each exhibit comes with audio narration available in both Spanish and English, adding depth to the experience. Additionally, the app features an AI-powered keyboard for you to type in questions, making the experience interactive and informative. Despite its brief nature, the experience is highly enjoyable and educational. Utilizing VR for cultural and educational purposes works exceptionally well, and this app exemplifies that. However, being the first reviewer, I noted two minor issues. Firstly, two sculptures currently lack English-language audio descriptions. Fortunately, I was able to use the AI to get detailed information about these artifacts. Secondly, the control scheme has a minor hiccup. One of the controller joysticks is used for teleportation and orientation. On a few occasions, while trying to "walk around" the sculptures to view them from different angles, I mistakenly teleported away, which also interrupted the audio narration. I want to emphasize that these are minor inconveniences that did not detract from the overall experience. I deeply appreciate the efforts of the developers (and possibly museum staff) in creating this app. It’s a fantastic tool that helps people from around the world appreciate the culture of Mexico's indigenous people.
