It used to be a great game back when it released (I gave 5 stars in my 03.2022 review), but due to some questionable decisions by developers the game is dead now, the number of online players is single digit, and developers already announced that they aren't going to update Nock any more.

I’m a week-one Nock player. When I first saw the game, I knew it was going to be a blast, and it was, for a long time. Even when I got stomped by better players, I knew I was improving, and most of the games were close. However, as the game’s life cycle progressed and the player count dropped, it became harder to improve and have those intense, close games that made the game so much fun. And that’s why it’s so painful to see the game in its current state. I’m at a loss as to how Normal let this gem of a game fade away; they truly had something special and are currently squandering its potential. It’s been almost a year since any major updates—last I recall, it was the volleyball mode, which, frankly, was a terrible idea that only further divided the already small player base. I suspect Normal has moved on to developing a new game, but given their track record with Nock, I’m doubtful their next project will fare any better, even if it’s as good as Nock. As knowing how to maintain a game is crucial in today’s live service model, and it seems they haven’t quite grasped that. I’m not expecting Nock to become the next Gorilla Tag overnight, but I do hope it can survive in a healthier state. To give it a fighting chance, I believe it should go free-to-play—no one’s buying it at this point anyway. The game already has in-game transactions that could continue to support it if there were players to make purchases. Therefore, Normal should advertise this change to attract both old and new players. With these steps, there’s a chance this amazing game could not only survive but even thrive. Please, Normal, I’m begging you.

Great game overall, but the lack of people makes this game look bad. Consider making it free to revive it.

As you can see quest is full of children, this game is a hidden gem that need to be available to everyone to make it succeed. Its a ghost town right now and its sad because its so fun to play.

I know the hype train has long moved on for this app, but it's still one of the most fun things you can do in VR: any time you want to play low gravity ice skating archery soccer/football, this is the app to use!
