Have to agree with the other five star reviews , the developers have made a really good game ,which is addictive and great for a quick blast .I first purchased this on itch some time ago and seeing it now on the lab store it's nice to see the continued work they have put in .At the price they are asking it's a no brainer .Keep up the good work and can't wait to see Bionic hunter next on lab store.

a Gorgeous Oculus Quest 2 Zombie Shooter

Video Review : https://youtu.be/bNrsVc9ETjg Mutated Virus is a zombie wave shooter where you roam around 3 different maps surviving well waves of zombies and other zombie like creatures. You have tons of weapons scattered around the level to pick up as well as power ups to slow time, move faster, explosive tornado and more. Control wise its smooth locomotion and snap turning with an optional laser pointer for those in need. This game is pretty much a mindless shooter that is really easy to pickup and play, seated or standing it works fine. But its strengths come with how nice the game looks graphically in the headset, enemies character models are very high resolution to the point it truly does look a lot closer to a PC VR game then an Oculus Quest title. I do admit the title isn't perfect and it does have some minor bugs the developer is still working on patching out but for the $5 price tag its really hard not to recommend it for those looking for some mindless zombie slaying fun.

Resident Evil Arena mode?

Mutated Virus feels like what Resident Evil’s VR arena mode should have been. It’s a masterful extension of that intense survival formula, with just the right amount of progression. Bonuses are there, sure—but it’s your real-world shooting skills that make the difference. There’s a wide variety of levels, each with a distinct atmosphere that really pulls you in. The graphics are solid, the controls are tight, and the immersion is deep. I actually had to stop playing at one point after reaching a save area—it’s that intense. The tension, the lighting, the sound design… especially the creepy music—it all comes together to make you feel truly unsettled. This is a standout title for any serious VR gamer. A fantastic achievement that deserves more attention.
