Great premise! Not there yet.

This is a review mostly aimed at the developers of the game. I will update this review score in the future if things improve, but for now, I will leave a summary of how I felt playing here for others to see as well. At the moment I would NOT recommend this game unless you have other friends to play with and are comfortable with the things I will mention next. I am not refunding the game as I want to believe in the development team, they seem to be small but really have a lot of appreciation for their game and community and I want to see more developers like these in the future. However, at the moment I don't think the game is ready for a full release, if it was a Beta things would be different, but alas, it's not. Here is a small overview of the issues/faults I found as well as good things. The good first: - Good dismemberment system. - Every time you replay a map things are placed randomly. - There is TONS of weapons, skins, customizations (also for your character) and everything is unlockable, giving a good sense of progression. - There seem to be a lot of different maps already (I have only played the first one so far however, so I can not attest to their level of quality or size yet.) Now for the bad: - DON'T pick the starter bolt action rifle! - Many sounds are missing, which is extremely odd. - The wrist UI most of the time the information will not show. - Storing weapons on the 4 waist slots is extremely difficult as you need to have perfect accuracy when releasing the weapon. Most of the times you will just drop your stuff on the ground. - Hits don't always register. Both player as well as zombies, making melee combat not feel good. - Your controllers don't vibrate when you shoot, nor do melee weapons make special sounds or vibrate the controllers when hitting enemies. The best zombie game I've Played so far

The game is great! I played the original Frenzy VR and I can say that this game is honestly better! Extinction is like if you mixed COD Zombies and a resource management simulator. I wish I could try out the multiplayer but none of my friends have money. It is absolutely worth the cost though!

Great fun game!

I love supporting indie devs, especially testing out early releases and betas for games. This game is definitely worth getting considering the amount of work and content in the game for only (I think) 3 people. I’ve played the original too but this is a lot more fun to play imo
