Awesome!

So excited to see this here, clean crisp and advanced. Just played for about 30 minutes I'm just barely scratching the surface, will give more review soon, if you want a new very well made game get this one! Graphics awesome, soundtrack awesome, Game play, the best... UPDATE. OMG!! THIS GAME IS A MASTERPIECE!! I JUST FINISHED AND FELT LIKE I WENT ON A LONG AND WONDERFUL JOURNEY. EVERYONE SHOULD PLAY THIS GAME THOROUGHLY ENTERTAINING, MY ONLY DISAPPOINTMENT IS ITS OVER, BUT IT IS SO GREAT. THANK YOU TO THE AWESOME TEAM THAT PUT THIS TOGETHER. TO ANYONE READING THIS IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GETTING THIS ONE DONT HESITATE , YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED 😁

One of the best

This is one of the the best single player, narrative style games on the store, right up there with Virtual Virtual Reality. The gameplay and visual style are great, like a combination of Lands End and Daedalus. I played it in one sitting without taking my headset off, which took around three and a half hours. I'd recommend it to anyone that doesn't mind playing in a swivel chair (you need to be able to turn around), I like doing so personally, but I know some people prefer to sit on a sofa or in bed. Even if you normally wouldn't play in a swivel chair, I strongly recommend it for this game, it really helps with the immersion. The bad: It has performance issues and a few visual bugs, but they didn't impact my immersion too badly (playing on Oculus Go). One thing that did cause problems for me and was the shrill sound when you collect dust with the artefact, it was way too loud and painful for my ears on the Go's speakers and the only way to deal with it was to turn down the volume quite low and throw the artefact away from me whenever it was absorbing dust (I didn't try the game with headphones, so I don't know if this is a Go speaker specific problem). Hopefully this game gets a few bug fixes etc before being left in its final form. It'd be great if this comes to Oculus Quest too, proper tracked hands and a joystick instead of a touchpad would be amazing!

Vignetting can be turned off!

Once you get through the initial (tutorial) stage you are able to access the menu and can turn off the vignette by toggling the Iris setting. It is a very good thing because I almost gave up on this excellent game. Once the blinders are turned off this is a fantastic adventure story that all VR fans should embark on. Thank you to the dev team for including this setting. Allowing those of us that don't get motion sick to use free locomotion without blinders is a beautiful thing. Great job on the graphics, sound design, and controls. I can't wait to get back in and complete the journey.

What Ive been waiting for!!

Hands down the best possible first person game on the Go, this game alone makes the Oculus worth buying, the controls are the best there is (move and strafe by sliding the touch pad, press and hold the pad to use jetpack, trigger for functions) and the graphics are incredibly well executed and the 3D atmosphere couldnt be more beautiful, not to mention the SCALE of each level, its literally jaw dropping. Do not waste time considering $10 when crappy companies like nintendo and xbox sell the same lame games for over $60. I cant wait to play this again!

Rather enjoyable game! Quest Version?

Update: Thanks, Devs, for responding and telling us there will be a Quest version. Is this still going to happen? It was in the 'coming soon' section of the Quest store for a short while then vanished a week or so before release and there's been no news or explanation since. Thanks. Original review: This game delivered more than I was expecting. I'm quite impressed with what the developers have managed, particularly as it's on the Oculus Go. Well done! As I've seen in some of the comments, some graphics/textures sometimes appear quite lacking and the controls with the Go controller don't always respond, but that aside, I really enjoyed it. To the devs, will there be an Oculus Quest version? PLEASE SAY YES! A fully reworked version for 6DoF and 2 hand tracking, with improved textures/light/shading would genuinely be awesome. I'd certainly buy it. Thanks!
