Bad purchase

Do not get me wrong good idea for a game, but from my experience. This game is not worth $10. If you like to sit down while you play do not buy this game because from where your boundary is set to the floor, the floor in the game is lower than that and you are unable to touch buttons or pick up items like a key or your case that your suppose to keep you. The part in the first case where you need a key to get into apartment 202 won’t unlock and if you let go of the key it falls to the ground and you can not pick it back up. Also, when you have it set to standing your avatar is super short and you are in the ground and if you set it to sitting down that’s when you are to tall to pick up thing or touch the hint buttons. So I advise y’all not to waste your money until the game is fixed. I would like my money back.

Great game and well worth the price tag

I had no idea I needed a legit vr crime scene investigation game with forensic tools until I played this. The story is good so far, so no complaints there. The use of forensic tools like the duster, DNA swabs, and evidence bags adds a very unique layer to the typical mystery/puzzle game and they're all fun to use. This game gives me major Condemned: Criminal Origins vibes which is pretty kick-a** Only couple of minor issues, such as: • the clipboard telling you how many pieces of optional/key evidence exist, but not how many you have collected of each; only the sum of both. • audio sometimes sounds distorted (most noticeable on the apartment intercom; the words that are said sound a little crackly sometimes) [hard to explain] • gunshots sound a little off; not enough bass? Overall, the game is awesome and worth the $10 as it is now, but with free dlc coming it's a definite smooth buy. EDIT: Deleted my earlier statement about not being able to find the last pieces of evidence; I found them, I'm just an idiot. Deleted my complaints of key items sometimes falling through the floor/being hard to find if they're dropped. The dev updated the game and fixed it very quickly.

Too big or too small!

I have to say that this game seems like it might be cool, but I have a disability where I’m always seated. I adjust the thingy but I cannot reach anything. I’m either too big or too small. I’m still at the beginning trying to be the right height to use the key. I would have thought this issue would have come up before the game went on sale.

Great potential, but with bugs

I really like the style and presentation of the game. Unfortunately, and this is a very minor gripe, during the tutorial the sound was cracking. The main issue I had was in the first 15 minutes of the main game. I opened a box, which revealed a key (which fell on the floor). I put the box in my bag and during this time, the key disappeared. I retrieved the box from the bag and the key wasn't there, again putting the box back in the bag. I looked around the near vicitinity and no sign of the key. I went to check the box again, and that had now also disappeared from my bag. So I was left with no box or key and leaving me with no alternative but to either quit or restart as I could no longer progress. I quit purely based on that there 'could' be other game breaking bugs deeper in the game, that would really frustrate. As I said, it has great potential but just needs fixing up and once done, I am willing to revisit the game and score it accordingly.

Very indie, but very good.

Just finished the Apartment 202 case last night. This isn't a super polished AAA title, but for what it is I thought it was great. Everything made sense, and the story was interesting without being too over the top or outlandish. The only significant change I'd like to see is subtitles. Some of the audio was hard to make out (I get that things like the scratchy intercom were done intentionally), and I often play games like this with my wife by casting to our TV, and with her being hard of hearing that's a particularly big deal for her. Otherwise, we're eagerly awaiting the next case. I hope this does well enough to get continued content.
