OK, you can do mixed reality if you want, nice effect, but do you wanna maybe get rid of the sudden piano playing and knocks on tbe door?!! It's chess, not Resident Evil. Chess, as far as I remember, does not need sudden unexpected sound fx. Particularly in mixed reality where it sounded like my door was being hammered on. One more slider, No scary sound FX. Cool?

General feedback

Clean, smooth and realistic over the board experience. Very enjoyable way to play. Needs option to mute your own mic, this has been asked for by the community for quite a while now. A standard feature of any game. Needs a take-back option to be added as VR controls can be fiddly sometimes and games completely ruined by dropping piece incorrectly. Sometimes difficult to find a game due to lack of players. I end up quitting the game 2/3 times. Needs option to abort and delete games in which opponent leaves before starting. While it's all well and good to update the game with various novel hand gestures they just aren't what the community is asking for. Users are paying to play chess when there are plenty of free options available, please listen to the users. Would like to be able to modify avatar.

Chess club hand tracking

I enjoy playing chess against AI opponents, but sometimes, especially when it's a tight game, and I move a piece to a specific square using hand tracking, it drops and locks in before my intended square, usually costing me the game because I can't redo a move. I found you have to be real careful and hover your piece higher than usual so as not to cause this to happen. Has anyone else experienced this?

Good game, but there is a bug

I noticed in the reviews that some people have a problem where the game gets stuck on the logo and doesn’t load. I experienced the same issue and think I found the cause. When you launch the game for the first time, it asks for microphone access. If you deny the permission and choose the option to remember the choice, the game won’t load properly the next time. The main menu appears, but when you try to start any game mode, it just stays on the loading logo forever. The solution is to go to the headset settings and allow microphone access for the game. Hope this helps the developers identify the bug and fix it.

Development for this game has stopped

You cannot undo turns. Hardly anyone plays it, itt gets old quickly, and the number of environments is too limited. The developer has stopped working on the game.
