This Game is super chill, it’s not 100% like snowboarding but it’s worth it if you actually ride, like for real. I got it just to get my brain used to hitting giant gaps and not freaking out, for the most part it does help. After a bit of standing up I realized physically spinning allows for a bit of realistic jib fun… then incorporating the drum throne (or similar spinny chair) brings it to a whole new game, rather than watching your board spin under you, it’s like really hucking… helping train muscle memory for the hill. I hope they keep improving the game but if your an avid snowboarder I doubt you’ll be disappointed… BTW, I experienced the glitch everyone is talking about but I just did the tutorial over and it fixed itself I guess ✌️

Pretty good! But can fix some things.

I am a boarder myself! And this was perfect for me, but then at least 5 mins of gameplay it crashed! When I was about to finish the tutorial it crashed! When is was gonna finish a course, it crashed! When I was gonna get a new board, it crashed the second before i got it so I had to reboot the and try again! So, if you are looking for a wintery experience you should get it! But if you don’t like loosing progress or getting stuff took away from you?!? You should still get it! It is a good game.

Not terrible

I had high hopes for this, and had fun for a bit, but lost interest pretty quick. The mechanics weren’t very intuitive to me, and I’ve spent years on the slopes. Trying to do tricks felt really clunky. Being from 1080° (a game I played for endless hours as a kid) I figured it would be a little more polished. I uninstalled it months ago. Might reinstall to see if they’ve updated anything to make it better.

1080 for VR now show me SSX

The two best games growing up floating on snow has to be 1080 and SSX tricky. I never remembered getting so much exercise when playing this older games but a few slopes of carve and after some funny noises and missed rails you feel like you’ve actually been out snowboarding the only issue so far is those pesky rock traps learn to get the item before a sudden turn or find yourself just jumping in a corner somewhere adding to your points but definitely not your ego. Peace

Read before buying

This game is very well done. The physics feel real and it gives plenty of personalization for anyone who plays. So 20$ for a sick snowboarding game? Not bad. It crashes after an hour or so of gameplay but it will hopefully get fixed. My biggest issue is that it is single player but has the potential to be an optional online experience. Perhaps the crashing prevents that. Still recommending this game because it is amazing.
