Severely lacking in key areas

I want so badly to like this game, but the few times I ran this, it just pissed me off! The game has potential, but falls so short at the moment. The graphics are good and the concept is good…but I see no point in this unless you are just looking for an endless runner or strictly simulation. There never seemed to be any end point no matter what mode I tried, and all of the opponents had a weapon…yet I found no way to defend myself. This game could be a VR answer to Road Rash, which would be awesome, but combat needs to work both ways! Finally, the physics of the game really were excruciating for me! MOTORCYCLES DON’T TURN LIKE THAT! The devs need to make the bikes lean! As a rider myself, I know that turning on a motorcycle isn’t like turning on a bicycle. You don’t turn the handlebars, you lean! If the devs can address the points I made, this could turn into an incredible game! To sum up: Add a finish line Make combat work both ways Add more realistic turning physics I’m giving this 2 stars because the graphics are good and there is great potential here…I’d be glad to increase my rating if the improvements happen.

It's not a good game

The idea for the game was cool, but the finishing was poor. I can't drive because I keep hitting something, invisible objects, cars spawn in front of my face out of nowhere, there's no way to calibrate your height, manual steering is also hard, sometimes the steering wheel seems to turn on its own, firing a gun is under the same button as the brake and you can't change this in the options... a lot of work is needed here.

Nod to Road Rash with bags of potential.

Motorbikes and hitting people with cricket bats whilst riding, what’s not to love.. Ok so this has a nod to Road Rash from the 90’s and there is still development ongoing within game, with several beta side games and tracks. The beta’s are interesting in their own right but do remember they are beta!! So if you see a motorbike travelling upside so be it. In Death Rush gameplay thankfully you get unlimited ammo but be warned you do need your VR legs on, however in the standard game all is ok even for me.. Top tip go to settings and turn FPS up to 120 it does not seem to affect the game play but truly enhances the graphics.

Road Rash 64 Vibes

Zero Glide is an awesome new Virtual Reality motorcycle game that has you reliving the past of the old school Road Rash series. This game allows you to choose from different classes of bikes and take them to the streets in several different ways. You can choose to race your bikes on normal tracks, choose to just go for a cruise on the free play mode, or decided to battle it out on the mean streets where you can hit your opponents with a bat! I love the that the game allows you to even make mods for it. I was able to drive around the streets of San Andreas which was really fun too. This game also has an experimental online mode which will soon be part of a full roadmap for the game. Overall the game was fun to play but the controls seemed to be a bit confusing for me when trying to reverse. I think this game has a huge potential for the online multiplayer and cant wait to see what the developers do next.
