Designed best for multiplayer action, the game allows up to four players to dive into eight uniquely themed levels, from an eerie cemetery to a creepy cabin in the woods. The premise is simple yet entertaining: one player takes on the role of the “Haunted,” racing against time to collect hidden keys and bones, while the others are the 'Haunters,” who set audio and visual props to try to scare the Haunted, and earn parts from screams. Kookie "fun" horror game

As the "hunted" your aim is simple. You need to find keys to unlock the front door on an assortment of different maps, grabbing any extra bones to earn extra points. However, it's not as simple as it first seems as the game tracks your voice (be sure to accept the microphone notification when you first boot) Your friend's goal (or should I say fiends XD) is to make that journey as difficult as they possibly can make it. On the flip side of the coin as a "Hunter," your goal is to try and scare the "Hunted" into screaming down the microphone You can do this by laying out an assortment of traps before you victim XD. These are loosely split into three categories. Sounds, objects and effects. All traps are activated when the hunted steps within its range. Sounds - make a sound. Ranging from lightning strikes to scuttling rats Objects - react as hunters approach. Ranging from jumping spiders to creepy doll Effects - affect the hunter's screen in some way. Ranging from flipping the screen upside down to temporarily turning their screen black (perfect for laying down a trap right in front of them for when their screen goes back to normal) You can also temporarily change into a monster costume and test out your acting chops......."he' 's behind you!" It's a unique concept on the meta store that is better if you have some jumpy friends to play along with. There are also solo (test your nerve against the computer); and party modes (set the traps as one player before passing it to another player "locally" to be scared) A quirky title that's not for everyone (if your expecting wet the bed kinda horror) Its closer to a funfair haunted house kind of light horror Its perfect with the right group of friends/ex-friends looking for a new social game to play for this halloween. I did feel bad scaring one friend through the graveyard level.........kinda......till I realised I was having too much fun making them shriek XD. Very resonably priced too!

Screams AND laughs!

This was such a fun one to play with friends! Allowing up to 4 players, one person is to find objects while the others lay spooky traps to get em to scream! Score is kept, but to be honest I have no idea what our scores were- we all won. So many laughs were had, whether I was haunting or haunted. I will admit, I screamed more than I thought I would. 😝 The traps vary from scary figures to spooky sounds to creepy crawlers to frightening costumes. Use a variety and you are almost guaranteed to provide a hilarious startle to your friends. I look forward to the addition of more traps to keep the key hunter guessing. A great time to be had!! Features pass and play so you can use just one headset and play with a friend!!

haunted house experience and game

This game is best when you can share the headset with a friend and set up traps for them. In multiplayer mode you all have headset at same time and can set traps for the one person to experience the haunted house on their way to get the keys to exit the haunted house. I like how they have it customized to smooth or snap turning whoever you prefer. Not sure how active the public lobbies will be for a horror game like this but use their discord to try to find other players for multiplayer if you have friends to try it out with. I don't scare easily but had fun turning into one of the costume characters they have with a touch of a button. Has a great concept.
