It's so close to being amazing!

Ok, this app is cool. I'm a musician and I'm planning on using it live if all goes well but I do have some frustrations with it. First, there should be an option to see what note you are playing or for it to be displayed, specially since these instruments don't look conventional. Other thing is I wish I could apply effects individually to each drum pad. It would also be great if I could have 2 instances of the same instrument so I can play 2 different sounds on them. Finally I wish there was a multitrack recording option. You know? And course, WAY more samples or a way to use my own. Aside fron that. It is pretty cool and I hope it gets better.

A whole music studio in vr!

For Full Video Review Visit Andy's VR Reviews On Youtube Virtuoso is an immersive music creation sandbox. The game includes a handful of instruments as well as a bunch of tools to edit the music you create. Personally, I had the most fun playing around with the empads (aka drums) in the passthrough mode to prevent myself from hitting my wall. I personally am not a musician so I did not attempt to make a good song but if you do have musical talent then this could be a great tool for you. I look forward to hearing someone with some real musical talent make a song using only this. It pretty much comes down to this, if you like making music, this is the game for you.

Missing some things..

For one a step sequencer. A piano roll would be nice too. I know you want it to be a vr experience with vr instruments, but I would like to create more than 3 note sequences. Custom time signatures and a chromatic scale would be nice. I know you want this to be for non musicians but it is very limiting to real musicians

Musicians, this is the future

If you’re looking for guitar hero go back. If you’re a musician, this will make you want to buy a battery pack for your oculus. This program is just the tip of the iceberg of the future of the music industry. If the programmers keep improving on this software and add more instruments, it will be known as one of the first virtual programs that started it all. Very glad I bought it.

Best VR Music Creation Tool

I bought this many months ago and immediately refunded it. As a music producer/engineer, I felt it was too flawed in many ways. Decided to try it for free during the August sale (15 min trial). Holy $#@! The devs have clearly put tons more work into this app, and polished it up nicely. A lot more features, and much better functionality. Bravo, Devs! Please keep working on this and set the bar even higher as the premier music creation tool in VR.
