Pay Attention

Despite the fast action, this is not a casual game or a sandbox. Do the tutorials (including advanced). Adjust your settings and learn the buttons. Treat the levels like a puzzle to be solved and not whack-a-mole. The easiest guy to shoot first is often a trap. When its working well you feel superhuman and clever, and the developer is actively updating and interacting with the community on improvements.

Another hit from the masters of action

Comparing this game to SUPERHOT is fundamentally wrong. In SUPERHOT, you’re cool because you cheat with time. Here, you’re cool because you actually are — because you managed to read the situation and react fast enough. At the same time, this isn’t Action Hero, where every level has to be memorized. Everything here is far more dynamic and honest: if you can read the situation and shoot accurately, you win — even on your first attempt. In that sense, this game is much closer to the first Hotline Miami: you act on instinct, and only afterward realize that you somehow survived. Highly recommended to anyone who loves reactive action games set to great music.

I’ve been playing Vendetta Forever and it’s honestly a lot of funs mooth gameplay and super easy to get into its like super hot and The pacing keeps things engaging, and it’s the kind of game you can jump into for quick sessions but still have a good time. Not sure why I’m seeing reviews calling the positive feedback fake, because that really doesn’t match my experience at all.

Game is Fantastic.

This might be my next gaming obsession. So much fun to play trying to perfect the run. One thing that slows me down a bit, is trying to distinguish if I have a throwing weapon or a gun waiting for me. Is there a way to color code them so I can tell the difference easier/faster? I am super impressed with the game. Need to charge my quest and rest up a bit to get ready for the next session.

Yeah, I bought a Quest to play this game

The more I play Vendetta Forever, the more it cements itself as one of my all time top games 💯 You know when something is made so well, that you enjoy it even though it has things you don’t usually like? THAT’s creativity and quality. I dislike teleporting in VR, and have little interest in replaying levels or leaderboards. Yet Vendetta Forever’s movement style is so well thought out within brilliantly crafted diverse levels, wrapped up in a highly entertaining package that makes me regularly genuinely smile and don’t want to stop playing. I bought a Quest primarily to play this exact game wirelessly lol. There’s so much to love. The game is simply endless, creative, awesome FUN. It is NOT “Superhot 2” as some say – it’s far beyond that and is completely its own thing with substantially more content, imagination and quality. This is a ‘your fav character’ simulator heavily covered in lots of unique icing. All those spy, action, revenge and adventure movies/games you loved growing up and in recent times, you can now be the star of. From Wick and Bond, to Lara and Indiana, and even some Chan, Stallone and piratey Sparrow vibes. I love story-driven games, but as this game’s marketing says: this is cutting to the good bits 🔪 The icing is it’s clearly crafted by someone who loves a range of classics, so each level is completely different with its own style, quirks and ideas. Examples: - Blind – genius. Using your hearing in complete darkness, only seeing glimpses of light from noises, throwing objects to distract enemies and identify their positions. One of the most exhilarating, coolest VR experiences I've had in a decade of VR that I return to. - Vertigo – another awesome level, falling through a roof window while shooting around you at enemies on a staircase like Agent 47 or one of the MacManus saints. - You can even experience the Wanted scene, standing on a train and swinging your arm to curve a bullet into a building to get the target 🔫 - Planes, prison breaks, samurais, snipers, nightclubs, supermarket shootouts, cowboys, speakeasies, battlefield trenches, submarines, even space with laser guns. Simple enough to feel like an agent of chaos, yet lots to master. Dip in for 10 mins, or spend hours refining your strategy and skill. Very rewarding. I was blasting through levels, then really liked a stealthy one. 3 hours later, replaying it continuously, I got the highest score in the world. Felt awesome. It’s also a great regular workout if you want it to be. It’s part of my exercise routine, tho I am literally rolling around and getting proper into it 😂 Lastly, the collectibles/unlockables are cool and not annoying. Mutators keep it fresh, different and challenging (yes there’s a ‘time moves when you do’ mutator!). The music and sound work is brilliant. The slo-mo when grabbing is not only cool but becomes strategic. The game is a goldmine of witty punchlines. bHaptics support is amazing – TactSuit and TactSleeve feel great, even attention to detail during the game’s intro. Physical gunstock support is coming. And the Deleted Scenes DLC, which is FREE, steps it up a notch further with more surprises – my fav is the space level. The future? I’d love to see more experimental visual styles, moods, genres, music and characters (the new DLC is a great example), more action set pieces, vehicles (car chases, sci-fi starfighters), maybe some horror, a dinosaur getaway level, and a ‘random continuous mode’. Essentially ramping up the wilder side even further! I know, a crazy long review, but this game deserves it. The developer, Zander (yes, 1 guy) deserves it. Buy it. Enjoy it. THANK YOU Zander for making such an amazing fun game. It makes me nod to my kid-self, getting to embody all those characters and experience these scenes as an adult. The sheer joy it brings me is worth many more times the asking price. You deserve tons of praise, resources and support. BUY IT!!!!!!!!!
