I bought this, honestly not expecting much. But this game managed to actually scratch that itch for a spy game that i had for a long time now. And honestly, i really like it. The stealth is really well done, the cartoony graphics are pretty charming imo, and its insanely replayable. And for those who are afraid they cant play the game without a big play space, No worries! You can actually play just standing or with stick movement (i believe?) so its pretty accessible, which is a big plus. Overall, i can only recommend you play this game, if you love spy movies and overall action and stealth!

There aren’t many games that truly encourage room scale like Unseen Diplomacy - for better or worse though - you WILL need to take this out of your happy way and play in a big empty space otherwise you won’t appreciate the work that has gone into it over the past near decade. I was a little disappointed that the mixed reality version didn’t fulfil my (likely super unobtainable!) desire of an endless space but in your real room - but in any case the VR version is worth a 5/5 alone

I had 3 black outs going into a room, one room went outside the boundary and I ran into my TV from having to set my headset down for a second. It also does not save settings for ducking. The elevators in labs will keep bumping the opposite direction when my hands are not bear the bottons and get me killed. Guards go through walls and you cannot see where they are and cannot hit them. It blocked me from using the escape chopper after completing everything, the icon was their and an X appeared after hitting the chopper icon. An elevator got stuck and was forced to quit once again. This may stem from having to change my guardian since I skip MR and use that to create a grid. This game is addictive and fun, but not when you have to change the guardian setup for the headset. After that, the game doesn't function until you delete the save and resart. What really kills the game for me is the hacking, using a key pad in VR for arkanoid is killing this game for me. It was a dumb mechanic to put in. I will raise my review if this feature gets removed, what makes it worse is the bad tracking in this game and then being forced to use the in-game keypad to control the hack. So overtime I want to finish a mission, I have to play pong with a jumpy virtual keyboard. This one thing kills the game for me. This was an idiotic idea, I am tired of restarting from the keypad not working right. Looking forward on the quest to stare at a monitor while using another function with the controllers does not work well on any game. As long as this mechanic stays, this is remaining uninstalled.

UPDATE SINCE RELEASE: Had to knock off a couple stars. This feels exactly the same as the beta but worse. My game soft-locked twice within an hour of playing. Elevators only active half the time. My wrist piece is permanently attached to my elbow and I can’t find a way to adjust it. Really bummed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This is going to be incredible once they work out the tutorial. Struggled to figure out how to lock in my room settings in order to get the green icon to begin. Overall much more immersive, dynamic and fun than Tea For God (way better looking too!). Unfortunately, too much text information at the top to grasp before you dive in to the campaign, and once you begin, not enough clarity or reminders on how some of the tools work, or how to defeat enemies and bypass obstacles. I currently have a soldering iron (I think) that does…something. Giving it a five for its great potential, but probably won’t revisit until it’s official launch. It’s gonna be great!!
