I typically travel to video game shows as part of media and also travel to Japan to cover numerous events. I haven't been able to do that for the last two years but when I first learned about the Tokyo Game Show VR 2021, I was excited. I love the fact you can see the booths with the videos, watch the music performances, and also the scavenger hunt of finding the 84 Fragment of Crystals (very clever to hide some those in the lamps). I was impressed by the Gundam because looking up and the size, I wouldn't be surprised that the scale used was similar to the first Gundam (RG 1/1 RX-78-2 Ver. GFT statue) located at Diver City in Odaiba. I loved the fact that you could see most of the program guides, to see the classic "Famitsu" covers was also pretty cool. I also was impressed by the amount of English translation and dialogue incorporated (considering many events I attended in Japan rarely have any translation), [not for the PR videos but thats understandable] What I would like to see for 2022: - Many TGS panels were shown on social media (YouTube, Twitter, etc.), please allow to have some panels shown for next year. - Cosplay - A big part of Japanese events is the cosplay and if TGS returns to Makuhari Messe in 2022, please incorporate cosplay photos for Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 on the app. - For 2022, a chance to see a Live 360 video of the venue or a live cam. Similar to the live cam of Shibuya Scramble or Akihabara that you find on YT, but a live cam from a distance from Makuhari Messe. Other than that, I'm quite grateful to the staff involved in this VR project. Thank you very much!
