PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAYED AND WERE DISAPPOINTED! When you initially “beat” the game and were disappointed in the 2 choices you have to make and how short it was, HIT CONTINUE IN THE TITLE SCREEN! The game seems like it restarts but it’s continuing from the last choice you made at the end! There is a true ending to the game. You need to skip the scenes you played through before and you get tons of side stories you need to complete before reaching the very ending of the game! It doesn’t take a day to play, it takes about a day to finish the first round through, but with all the other side stories it took me about 5-7 days of playing. Please continue playing! And if the developers are reading I would recommend putting that crucial info in the description. At first I was upset about how short and lackluster it was until after a google search I realized this game had much more to it. It’s a fantastic story and I’m so glad to have got it

BEFORE YOU PURCHASE...

Please note that this is a visual novel (VN) and mainly consists of clicking through dialogue and there is no gameplay. I didn’t realize this fact and was fairly disappointed and would’ve given this game one star if it weren’t for the ending. At first it’s pretty boring as you’re simply clicking through an anime in VR. What saves this game is the ending (the true ending) which is extremely beautiful and gives you a sense of accomplishment. See more below to help you with the game (may contain spoilers). . . . . . . . . A couple of things to help you out: 1. Always choose the left option to get through all the subchapters for the true ending. Once you choose left, you will always have the option to go back to the ‘right’ choice. I made the mistake of choosing right in the first choice and had to go back later on. 2. You have to play this game twice. The first time sets the stage but leaves many questions unanswered. The second time will answer everything and you will get the true ending. There are a lot of repeats but you can quickly click the dialogue away or use the skip feature. But there is new information intertwined in each ‘Re:chapter’ (the second play-through). 3. Only after going through the first chapters (aka chapters), the second chapters (aka Re:chapters) and the left choices (aka subchapters) will you be able to unlock the true ending. SUPER SPOILER BELOW: . . . . . . Without going into too much detail and ruining the ending, I wanted to point out that the main story is about suicide which may make some uncomfortable. Overall I feel it’s worth it to try as long as you know what you’re getting into since the idea is quite novel and the ending is fantastic. I might even think about getting the sequel, Altdeus: beyond chronos, which looks more interactive. This is quite a surprise since after playing this game for a few hours I really didn’t think it was worth it but I was convinced by the end.

THIS GAME IS A RIPOFF AND A LIE.

I tried to get a return immediately but was denied so here I go SHORT REVIEW: Bad writing, bad gameplay, bad everything. Not worth the money . There's way cheaper games with way better quality Actually there's free games that are better than this. Play a PC novel instead. Just look up "The best anime visual novels" close your eyes and pick. And whatever you pick I guarantee it's cheaper and better than this CRAP LONG REVIEW: This game cost 40, when all it is, is 3D texture's talking,standing and sitting. There's barely any interaction. The story is bland and uninsteresting and a lot of it could of been removed or written better. The character's are all tell and don't show. Green haired lady is so smart and never wrong, purple haired femboy is a leader like and instead of experiencing these features it's told to you when a character is acting strange or themselves. Why?? Because the character's are not written well, nothing is! The game is trailered to make it seem like it's a mystery, interactive novel but it's not. AND WHY THE F--K DO I HAVE HANDS IF THEY'RE JUST FOR DECORATION 95% OF THE TIME!?!?

An awesome VN

A pretty cool visual novel built for VR in mind.. Yes it’s pricey, but it has a good story. Art is great too... can’t wait to see more VNs in the future

Worth 40€ if you like books/visual novel

I cleared all endings. It took me about 15-20 hours. The game is like a visual novel but with 3D models instead of 2D pictures. For those who don't know, think of it as a book with voices, musics and pictures. There are some animations (just a little) though. The graphics are nice, just like an anime. I personally didn't really enjoy the characters design, but it's a matter of personal taste. The 3D model are sufficiently detailed but I found the backgrounds lacking. The voice acting is superb! The OST and the musics are absolutely wonderful. I can't find a single minus about it. Since this is a visual novel, let's talk about the most important thing : the story. I can't say any spoiler, but I found it great. At least on par with very good visual novels/ books. It's like a mystery novel. While playing I managed to guess many things, but I also got things wrong. The story is quite emotional and serious. The true ending was so beautiful. I got teary eyes, which almost never happen... There are next to no choices, unfortunately. My biggest complaint is the skip function. It allows you to skip scenes you already saw, but it works by scene and not by sentence. If there is just one sentence that differs, then you can't use the skip function. In term of immersion, does VR bring something? YES! Definitely. You definitely feel more immersed in the story despite the lack of interaction. If there were much more interactions and choices, it would be so much better, but I understand the time and the budget of the developers are limited. Conclusion : do I recommend it? Must-buy: If you like visual novel. If you like anime and reading. Recommended: If you like anime. If you like reading. Not recommended: If you don't like reading. If you hate anime. I complained a fair bit, but I still think very highly of the game. It's definitely worthy of 5 stars considering the price. At least to me. PS: Ending A is best ending. Ahahahhaah!
