Timeride worlds - Wunder Schöner Spiel.

When I first saw this app on the play store, I thought it was an app that was made from some alleyway apartment developer techno somewhere in the Third World as a lot of apps have such origins. This app is connected to none other than the actual Timeride Worlds museum in Frankfurt Germany. VR is what they do. VR is all they do. Timeride Worlds. Not bad. Not what I was expected. I expected a POV stagecoach ride. What it is: A large diorama. If you like Walltown Wonders, Oto's Planet, Witchblood, Augmented Empire. Same sort of thing. A large MacGuffin in the middle of a mixed reality area. In the hand, the player holds a hand held neti pot or tea pot that pours steam like what a beekeeper has. In the diorama are lots of figures that are translucent. Aim the neti pot at the whatever's in the diorama and one after another they come to life, and color, saying a few words. There is a list. On each level, there are a certain amount of things in the diorama to explore in order to complete the experience. Not the best app ever and far from the worst app ever. It's a middle class aristocratic bourgeois luxury toy for all ages that is made in Germany. Nur ein besser. Only the best. The medieval Europe scenes especially the cathedral at Köln is very nostalgic. Fernweh - nostalgia for times never lived in. Anemoia - nostalgia for places never visited. This app has a lot of that! Tips: Warning: some coarse language. Some snarky and edgy conversations. Also, exiting in any way, either pressing the exit button somewhere in the diorama with the neti pot or pressing exit on the grip controller will exit a person from the game. Then they can not get back in at all. Restart the game and it stays frozen on the opening screen. For ever. The only remedy is to go to settings and clear cache but since that doesn't seem to be available, clear data altogether. This also clears whatever accumulated progress which means nothing. There are no greater prizes. WYSIWYG. Was dein sicht ist was dein gehst. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. It is a trip to the Miniature World museum in Victoria BC. Activate some figurines within the dioramas. Activate a few more, activate a few less, what's the difference?
