Wizardly Fun

This game is great. The gestures feel just right. The locomotion feels good and I'm glad there's options for sliding and teleporting. More about the gestures - They make it very immersive. I felt like a real wizard every time I summoned spells. The fireball started off feeling weird but soon I was chunking them like an NBA player in the 3 point contest. Walking into a new area and summoning the shield makes me feel invincible. No spoilers about the other spells, but they feel even better. Great game so far. Definitely worth the $$.

My honest reveiw

First of all this game is great. I love how the hand movements trigger different spells, which is really cool and fun to do. The plot is a bit messy, but also easy to understand. The controls are also very easy once you get used to them. A personal issue I have with this game is that when I am moving around I get a bit motion sick, but that may not apply for you. This game is also pretty easy. I beat this game and did not die once, and I’m not that great at video games. Another bad thing about this game is the enemy’s are all pretty much the same. Besides a few bosses, the enemies are all goblins and orcs. This game was a fun experience, and this is my honest review. Thank you for your time, and I hoped I helped you make a decision to buy this game or not -WB

Doesn’t Draw Me Back In

This is a great game that brings out my inner nerd, but after I finished the story, I had no want to jump back in as I do with other games. The fate cards are neat, but not something that’s going to draw me back in and only gives the game slightly replayibility Maybe adding in some type of arena, horde, or arcade mode might bring back in. As well as multiplayer. Bettering the graphics will also increase the appeal.

What VR should be...with better graphics

The game is awsome really. The spells hand motions are simple and straightforward but I wished they could be casted from both hands, for example casting a fire ball in the left hand and the right hand. This would create possibilities for awsome combos. Being able to upgrade your spells is cool especially so that the lightning spells separates in each hand. I still haven’t been able to achieve the master level for your fireballs which would max out this spell. I do think that the game is laking enemies and difficulty. The biggest default are the graphics. They are really really really bad. Do not buy this game without knowing this! After seeing videos I knew what to expect but still. I hope to see The Wizards: Dark Times soon on quest as the graphics seem really better but it also is all I think the game is missing (casting in both hands, more spells, more enemies, more difficulty, and way way better graphics). If the developer reads this fhey please think about bringing Dark Times or atleast the Enhanced Edition to Oculus Quest.

This is what I want from a VR game!

I love this! I'm pretty new to VR and a lot of games just feel so underdeveloped and I've avoided VR for years for that reason. This game is the kind of game I've been waiting for! It really helped me get the hang of this style of controls too. It moved along at the right pace for me to help me get good and comfortable with VR gaming
