Worst Quest game this year

How is it possible that Meta allows this game to be in the main store? I wouldn't even play it again if it was for free. It's bad in every single category! Graphics bad, AI bad, level design bad, performance bad, gameplay bad, handling bad and loading screens after every corner. This definitely needs to be removed from the main store, DO NOT BUY IT!

Ruff … So ruff

I usually try to find good things in my reviews even if I personally don’t like it. But wow, I cannot find one thing good about that game I am a big fan of roguelike shooter in VR. I play Sweet surrender, Compound, hellsweeper, light brigade almost daily. I was really happy to try a new one, i didn’t watch any trailers so i had no expectations at all except “roguelike shooter VR” The first 10min was “ok” i guess, then they gave me a gun and I had to shoot a mob. After the first “bullet” shot on an “alive” target I knew at that point that it was a very refundable game… good god, i have more target feedback from the classic Doom Other points: -unoptimize for Quest Pro, the graphics are so ugly, and i cannot have any semblance of stable fps -buggy as hell, mobs, doors, elevators, fall damage… EVERYTHING is broken -no weapon or world feedback, ultra basic “vr for people who get sick easily”, lets say the movement option are terribly “simple” -no two hands mode on pistol, no toggle run option or auto run. -15min in, the exact same mob “model” takes 1 “bullet”… 30min later the same type of monster is a big daddy commercial bullet sponges Yhea that’s it, Last thing, i cannot understand how they got the spot on the official Meta store with that POS of a buggy mess I played 2077 40hours the first week it was out, but that game is just unplayable in that state

What is happening!...

I really wanted to like this , but as it stands, the game is barely playable. Constant stuttering and terrible textures alongside basic gameplay, I can't possibly recommend this game. I hope to see some improvements added, especially given the state of some of the other games within this genre. Please don't let this be another game in the bin!

Missing weapon feedback

Quite a bit has already happened and improved since the first version. I bought it and then refunded it because there were just too many things that didn't work out. I've bought it again now because I really like the core idea, I'm very fond of Roguelike games, and I had hoped that some of the problems would have been fixed. I'll keep it, even though some weaknesses have not been eliminated. What I'm missing, and this is my biggest criticism because it could massively improve the gaming experience, concerns the weapons: there's no haptic feedback, zero vibration! There are dozens of games that have shown and demonstrated how a good weapon in VR should feel. Here, you can shoot and no matter the weapon, you feel nothing, which significantly reduces the fun. It's beyond me why this hasn't been improved yet. Now for the positives: What I like about the game is essentially the idea, the Western style, the game loops, the atmosphere created, the great musical accompaniment, the dialogues, and the cool worlds or level design. It's fun to walk through and explore. However, in my opinion, it takes a few hours for the game to pick up speed and also to be able to show its strengths. TLDR: The game has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it's not well exploited. Improvements are only happening slowly. Just adding weapon feedback would make the game so much better. I hope it comes soon.

I don’t see the issue

Edit: After more play and coming back from Bulletstorm VR this game is about a 7 out of 10. It’s the loading screens before going into each room, the bullets don’t sound or travel like real bullets they’re more like little pellets, the environments are basic. But I will say the intense feeling this game gives you in combat is still top notch and the gameplay balance is well If you like Drop Dead the Cabin you’ll like this. This game receives A LOT of hate that made me not want to buy it but I took a chance. It’s exactly what I thought it was originally. It’s not a AAA game but it’s a good game from a small studio and the atmosphere, sound, and gameplay feel is there. Not so much graphics but I could say that about most of the games on the quest store and most not AAA games. It’s a fun game for what it is especially if you enjoy the world it puts you in and I do enjoy the semi dark atmosphere because this game fits into a category of its own and it’s a solid 8 out of 10 I gave it 5 stars because I also see the developers are still working on it & supporting the title which is a plus and the reason I bought. I own a lot of games here and from just playing it I rank this among the top because I can see the replay value in it instantly.
