The Cooking Game VR

Great addicting cooking fun!

Honestly, when I first got into this game, I was personally not expecting to much, but when I got into it, a shocking amount of fun. The gameplay is fast and entertaining, and there are a bunch of fun little things like the fire in kitchens, throwing things at people and (still haven’t run into this yet, but the tutorial says so) the refrigerator doors breaking. Playing against opponents is a lot of fun, and the pressure can be nerve racking. While playing this game, I do think that overtime and higher levels, there should be more food items, like drinks and ketchup, and more specific orders asking for different combinations. This would make the gameplay even deeper. This may lead to cheaper upgrades, but this would still be a good idea in the long run. I would also like to see more restaurants, as well as even more types of people. I do like the tutorial, which explains things perfectly, and the level structure. The menu is also very well put together. One of my complaints though is that I haven’t failed quite yet (at level 15) and the levels are too easy. Maybe a bump up in difficulty? Awesome game so far, and can’t wait for updates!

I get to live out my restaurant-cooking fantasies without causing any real fires. While the upgrade system doesn't manifest itself in a very satisfying way, this game is still very fun. The graphics, sounds, and gameplay are all really good. If your a fan of cooking games, this is a long-awaited must-have.

Fun, but I get hand cramps

This is a super fun game! It gets harder as it goes on. Just keep cooking and cooking before the other waitress steals your table. Gotta be quick or else your food catches on fire. I’m looking forward to trying multiplayer! I would absolutely give it 5 stars, but everything you do is immediately around you, like it’s too close, my hand wicked cramps up from playing this. I am using the oculus controller. Maybe there’s a way to sort of push everything a foot further away from you, but I haven’t figured it out. Absolutely worth the price.

Great Game and Addicting

I love this game it’s fun and addicting. I’d love to give it five stars but it does have one minor setback. The camera is too close to the items. When trying to get plates or in the fridge it’s physically painful. Since it’s so close it causes hand cramps trying to select. Please add an option to zoom out!

Should NOT be rated E for everyone!!!

My little one was really looking forward to playing this game, and I bought it ahead of time for his birthday. (He hardly ever plays vr because we don’t want it to hurt his eyes, but we make an exception occasionally, and this was going to be one). A few minutes into it, he comes and tells me that there’s cursing and that a lady called him a “bloody sh*t” and it wasn’t even bleeped! I checked it out, and when you throw ingredients at someone, she says that with no bleep noise, and she says some other things that are just barely bleeped. And I don’t want my kids playing a game where anyone is obviously calling them a mf-er, even if it is partially bleeped out! I was appalled!!! My little boy didn’t want to play any more and said I should “tell those people their game is bad.” The game is probably fine otherwise, I don’t know, but it should NOT be rated for children if you are going to have the characters cursing. That’s just sad, messed up, and shameful. If you do happen to respond to this review and take out the cursing, I will happily change my bad opinion and my bad review. Have a nice day (and please don’t talk ugly around kids), thanks.
