Great action stealth game

Feels like you’re living inside an episode of the series. The action is chaotic, violent in the right measure, and really captures The Boys’ vibe. The powers are a lot of fun to use and open up multiple combat approaches, overall a great experience packed with great moments.

DOES ANYBODY TEST GAMES?!!!

I lasted around 2 minutes in this game. Standing in the menu, leaning and can instantly see the blurry wobble (im guessing spacewarp) which instantly looks horrendous. Loaded into the first mission, walked 4 steps forward and my god is the frame rate 15fps. Absolutely horrendous and if ANYONE suffers from VR sickness, do not buy this. If this game was tested and someone said "yep thats good, send it out" then they need firing. It will be refunded in the next 10 minutes.

F*ck you, I liked it

I can't give it five stars 'cause the animations are way off, but I am giving it four. Other reviews say it's jittery, bad, and boring. I had no performance issues, had fun, and good god I loved the gameplay. The voice acting was great, and I literally immediately want to replay it. However. After you deal with Brooke, there is an issue. I reloaded my checkpoint (because I accidentally did the opposite choice I wanted to do), and was put at the start, where I had to go back to the room, and got blocked. There's a barrier at the vent (presumably so I don't go back up mid-cutscene), but it stays after I reload. And get sent back to the beginning. Where my checkpoint is. It's possible I did it too quick, and then never hit the checkpoint, but I thought I'd point it out just in case. Anyway, it IS a good game.

I loved it!

I felt thrown straight into an episode of the series, with that constant feeling of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The violence is impactful, but not gratuitous, it is part of the world and makes everything more real. The powers with Temp V are a highlight: you can play in a more stealth way, or sometimes just go after everyone. The art direction of the game is incredible, everything makes sense and in a few minutes, I already felt inside the universe. For those who enjoy VR games with a good experience, The Boys will be a mandatory game for you. I loved it!

saved files deleted after patch...

Originally I gave this game a 5 star review because I really liked the gameplay. But after the patch ALL of my saved games are lost!!! WTF??? Is this what you call a good update??? I am not willing to play through the whole game once more and it is a shame that an "update" deletes all your saved files. I cannot describe how disappointed I am! This is how you turn fans of the game into disappointed "one star reviewers"! Super unprofessional and self destructive on the part of the developers. BRAVO!!! EDIT: Thanx to the devs! My saved games have reappeared. That was a pretty fast response and I am giving the game its five stars back. Really looking forward to playing now. ;o))
