Get free demoTask Force 9 is a stealth-driven VR tactical shooter built around planning, positioning, and controlled execution. The optimal path is quiet: observe patrols, coordinate with your AI partner, isolate targets, and eliminate threats before they know you’re there.
Action is not removed—it is the consequence of failure or choice. When stealth breaks, the game allows aggressive recovery through breaching, explosives, rappelling, suppressive fire, and close-quarters combat. Combat is lethal, fast, and unforgiving. Charging in is possible, but never optimal.
Core gameplay focuses on:
Stealth-first level design with multiple infiltration routes
AI partner coordination and positioning
Environmental interaction: cover, verticality, wall breaches, ambush angles
High-risk CQB where mistakes compound immediately
Task Force 9 is not a power fantasy and not an arcade shooter. It rewards restraint, awareness, and disciplined decision-making. Action exists to resolve situations—not to replace planning.
This is a pre-release build. Systems, balance, and content are still evolving. Player feedback directly influences development and prioritization.

You can tell this is made by a small company. But it needs more exposure so I’m gonna give it five stars. The reasons for this: Actual stealth mechanics AI teammate for great solo players who want tactical shooter Not quick paced like zero caliber, actual tactical. The controls are intuitive. Although the game is fairly clunky, the AI enemies are not stupid like contractors and not a fast paced shooter like zero caliber. It’s more like tactical VR but you don’t need to be online to play tactically and ALOT more intuitive controls compared to Tactical VR.

This is a great game, but it doesn’t have any form of side arms from what I’ve played so could you please add a pistol a Glock 19 or Beretta would be nice also, can you please add gun customization.

This game is so good but I think it would be so much better if they added a pistol for when you run out of ammo for the M4 but I would definitely recommend this game

For an early access game made by a solo developer it is pretty sweet. Task Force 9 is a single player game where you are a member of a special task force to bring down terrorist. You will also have the aid of an AI fire team partner you can strategical move through the game. This is not a run and gun game, you will have to move in silence and use strategy to take down your foes. There is only a few missions to play right now, with more on the way. The few missions you do get feel pretty solid. You do things like using an enemy as a human shield, throw a magazine to distract the enemies and use your AI partner to clear rooms and secure them. I am really enjoying this game so far and can't wait for more levels.
