Really???

I went in with an open mind, but this was a frustrating experience. While I respect that this is a solo dev project, the final product feels extremely unpolished. The graphics are very basic, even by indie standards, and the music doesn’t add to the experience. The core gameplay is extremely simple, with little to keep players engaged. The controls work, and the menu functions as expected, but beyond that, there isn’t much to praise. For a paid title, especially at its current price, I find it hard to recommend. The game might have had potential if it offered multiplayer or deeper mechanics, but as it stands, it feels more like a tech demo than a full game. If future updates bring significant improvements, I’d be open to revisiting it.

Remember Old School Tank Commander?

What a cool little gem! Tank Town reminds me of the old school Tank Commander game which pits you against other players in a grid-like environment but now in the VR world! As per the dev's suggestion, for those who get motion sick easily it's probably better to play sitting in a swivel chair so that you can swivel the turret via the chair instead of the joystick and then utilize the other joystick to move forward and backwards. Can't wait to try and defend my base against my friends online! I can see this providing many hours of entertainment once I get other friends on the app! Thanks, Sebastian!

Basic graphic but great idea

Of course there needs to be some more update for this game, but it really reminds me of my childhood when I played tank game on the old console. For this game I am the tank and it was fps game. The AI needs to be updated so they should be smarter. Other than that, I really enjoy the game.

I LIKED IT!

To be honest this game is a motion sickness vampire. Tank turns could be 2x faster, as it takes really long time. For the flag, it could go down so you can see from far away that base is taken. Maybe some mines drop could be good. And most of all, maps could be way bigger and other tanks could spawn in different places, as after couple of maches you just shoot to the corner from your spawn and kill instantly many enemys. Compared to other games, this game get strong 9 out of 10 from me! Most recommended! Thanks Devs, keep it updated♡

Fun idea, meh implementation...

I'm a big fan of old school games like Combat for the Atari 2600, and this game attempts to bring similar gameplay into VR. It does succeed at that. The tank is easy to control, and there are new and varied maps that keep you on your toes. I did find the gameplay itself to get old fast. There are allegedly 50 levels to tackle, but by level 7 or so, I was just too bored to continue. It also currently lacks instructions on victory conditions for the different game modes, so you may have to, like I did, guess for a while till you figure things out. Maybe it'll be a game you enjoy. It just wasn't for me.
