I work at a hospital and provide VR to patients to give them fun activities to play with, and this game is a great learning experience. Many kids (obviously) are scared of the doctors when I comes to surgery, and many want a step by step explanation. This experience not only makes it very digestible for kids and very inviting, but it eases a lot of stress. One kid, who was going into surgery, only complained that you yourself cannot perform surgery on the narwhal-ha! I told them that thats a job for doctors only. Even with that, they were getting ready to go into surgery and didn't appear to look at surgery with a negative outlook. It's very easy to use and very replayable. Even if you've never used VR before, it's very simple to play. Totally recommend for anyone that has kiddos or patients who may be gearing up to go into surgery in the future.

Great Idea!

Downloaded Surgery Prep and can see how this can be extremely helpful for children who are unsure and afraid of the hospital or surgery. The animals are cute, environment friendly and color scheme easy on the eyes. I can see kids enjoying this app.

Innovative Way to Prep!

What a fantastic way to prepare kids for surgery! Even the sounds are realistic, from the blood pressure cuff to the sounds in the operating room. Very immersive so a child can know what to expect and lessen their anxiety. Excited to share with other parents.

This App is amazing!!!!

I cant express how much this helped my child! Where was this app years ago??? It eased his mind so much! Watching the animation kept a smile on his face as the whale walked him through the process. This app helped my son relax and lessen the fear. As his mom, it gave me great comfort to be able to provide this resource to ease my childs anxiety. This should be available at all childrens hospitals and possibly for adults as well. Thank you for this beautifully done app! It really helped my son! 👍😀

As VR grows I am excited to see developers show new and innovative ways this technology can effect our lives in a positive way. I can't wait to see how this app will make surgery prep for kids and adults safer and less stressful.
