I need an anchor point

I like the app but whatever i do the overlay keeps shifting everytime i take my eyes of the wall. I tried lighting cleaning the sensors resetting the boundary factory reset etc.etc. I wish there was just a way to place an achor point that stays in place based on the roomscale setup position.

PERFECT to make a mural or copy somethin

I bought this after having about 6 other art apps. This one is by far the easiest to upload an image, manage that image, place and tweak the placement of the image. They clearly worked hard to help you maintain placement of the tracing you overlay with 'reality' and when it's out of synch, it's not too hard to fix it again. It IS a limitation of passthrough with Meta - this was obvious every time it went out of synch (like if I took the headset off or walked into a very different room and came back). Extremely user friendly!!!! And when Meta gets better, this will be able to be better anchored as well. The lipstick can only come out so good when your pig is wiggling, so to speak. I make a Very Large 4 foot x 12 foot bulletin board for work about opportunities to volunteer. I first created this in Canva scaled, imported it, and *viola* I was able to overlay and trace. Don't think I can upload images in reviews, which is a shame, but it came out really good and I have THIS app to thank for the help! Especially for tracing all the lettering, that is a nightmare with typestyle text (vrs fluid handwritten or calligraphy style which I can better freehand).

Can’t get past the welcome screen

Had high hopes to use this app for art on my Meta Quest 3s, however that was shot down when I was unable to even get past the welcome screen. It won’t allow me to click the blue “Get Started” button nor the red “Skip” button at the top. It basically won’t move from this screen. I created a profile in their page and have the enrollment code but no place to enter it. I tried all the things- headset is fully updated. Turned everything off and back on, reset the device, closed and reopened, controllers have their batteries everything charged. There’s apparently a glitch in the app. I emailed them for assistance but haven’t received a reply yet. This app was the whole reason I got a headset, super disappointed.

Has potential

There are some great things about this app. It enables me to place an image on the wall without too much ado and I can move it as I need with a lot of options. This is great and certainly allows me to speed up the time it takes to get an image blown up onto a wall. That being said, there were some gaping holes for me in user functionality. 1) you are limited in the amount of files you can save and it is a pretty small amount. I am doing a project with 30 walls and I was only able to upload just over half of them before the app kept telling me I was out of space. This seems absolutely ridiculous. 2) there is no way to save a layout manually, specifically within a room with more than one stencil placement. I want to be able to put 10 stencils up in a room, “save” the layout and just open it from there next time I arrive. Why is that not an option? 3) in a similar vein, there is no way to save even the placement of one stencil. The program sometimes remembers a familiar area, but sometimes it doesn’t. If it doesn’t remember the area, you have to completely restart the process of getting your stencil on the wall in the same place it was before. This seems like something the program should easily have available to its users. I have spent countless hours this week replacing images because there was no way to save the placement and the app didn’t recognize the room the next time I went.

Form Over Function

I’m pretty happy with the placement tools, but this program was not built for serious artists. This is for expecting mothers who want to paint a mural in their new nursery or college students that want to slap out some pop art for a quick buck. I need this program to be fit for offline use. It needs to at least be able to save my entire stencil library to the headset I’m using. It also wouldn’t hurt to be able to sort and organize those stencils into projects. I would gladly pay extra for more functionality. I didn’t say I would pay a subscription fee. Listen closely, I would pay a substantial amount more for a single purchase of a more functional product. One that doesn’t tie me down into sterile environments clinging to spotty wifi signals.
