Star Trek™: Bridge Crew will immerse you in the Star Trek universe thanks to VR. The game puts you and your friends in the heart of the U.S.S. Aegis. Your mission: explore a largely uncharted sector of space known as The Trench, in hopes of locating a suitable new home world for the decimated Vulcan populace. The Klingon Empire is also active in the region, and their purpose is a threat to the Federation’s plans.

Make strategic decisions and coordinate actions with your crew to complete the mission. In co-op, you can form a crew of four players to serve in the roles of Captain, Helm, Tactical and Engineer. In addition to a dynamic storyline, the game features an “Ongoing Missions” mode, procedurally generating missions for countless hours of Solo and Co-op adventure.

Uplay account required. A permanent internet connection is required in order to play the game.

I've been playing this game for quite a while now, and absolutely love it, ideal for any trekkies, but disappointed to see there has been no development for years. This game could be an amazing winner if more missions were available and even some away missions, even piloting a shuttle or walking to the transporter room to beam down to a planet. If these qualities were created I reckon you could get far more people buying the game. I held back one star for that reason.

The Ultimate Star Trek Experience

People will pay for takeout that they finish in 30 minutes and leave a positive review, but when it comes to games that they can spend years enjoying (and devs spend years creating) they leave 1 star reviews for the dumbest reasons. If you enjoy a game even a little, give it 5 stars. If you don't enjoy it refund it, or email the devs and express your concerns. Once a game's stars drops too low, sales stop, and there's no incentive to ever add fixes. To pay their bills, it's better for devs to just move on to the next game. Rant over. This game is awesome on Quest 3. The Ubisoft setup is a small pain that takes less than 5 minutes to sort out (had to login twice, and restart the game). This game comes with the Next Generation DLC for free. I don't play multiplayer so can't say much about that. I'm the captain now!

Multiplayer Gameplay sucks

It's virtually impossible to connect with friends using multiplayer. You have to make the multiplayer game public, have your friends join a random server, and hopefully you connect to the 1 your friend made. You start playing together, but then encounter many bugs. You can't move the ship, you start seeing the ship on screen and can't switch to straight ahead view. The game disconnects you, and you have to restart the server, because joining a friend's game doesn't work.

Great!

I was afraid of the reviews, but so far on the quest 3 it seems to work fine for the most part. I suspect multiplayer doesn’t work? I bought if for single player anyways. It’s pretty cool, though it could have been so much more also. It’s a shame no one has taken this concept to do something like this again and not abandon it. Either way, if you pick it up on sale you can’t go wrong. I’m really enjoying it so far. Edit: just tried multiplayer, there is some bug: but still super fun. I did lose connection once also.

Star Trek Bridge Crew

This game is as close as you can get to serving in a Star Fleet bridge. It has so much potential, but K think the developers have pushed it to the side. Pros: Excellent design and graphics Great storyline Excellent with both a real crew and AI crew. Fun!! You feel the part you play in the bridge-good community as well. Cons: Recurring glitches with sounds in multiplayer mode. Sometimes it’s me, sometimes others. Controls lock up 30% of the time in multiplayer mode. WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS DEVELOPED MORE. Maybe a Klingon Bridge? Romulan? More storylines? The possibilities are endless with this game!
