I don’t get the bad reviews. This is new, it cannot be flawless. The definition is not the same as what you would get with a blu-ray using a HD screen, I see a lot of people complaining about that, but in fact it could not be better, especially when it is in 3D - as it is, the higher quality I got was enough for me to enjoy every single moment of the show and get hypnotised, it was magical. You just have to be aware of the limitations of the technology itself. Of course, as I have an average connection, I did experience some quality variations, sudden losses, or a few freezes - but even all of this ran smoothly, nothing more than half a second. So yes, the image sometimes switched from 3D to 2D, or got blurry for a little while. But I could feel everything had been thought to give me the best experience ever - and this is what I got. I did not even really know Muse before, and I just wanted to try the app to see what a show could become if it was aired on VR. And it is outstanding. It gave me the chills, I felt like I could see everything better than if I had been there. Do not get me wrong, I am not saying VR should ever replace real shows, but it is such a nice way to share it with people who could not be there. I could watch this again and again - I think I will, actually. And I could pay the price of a ticket for this, honestly. Remember that it is just the early stage of VR technology, so there are limitations, but when you see what has been done here already… Wow ! It is definitely a good start. I hope one day the tech will allow to download the whole video at once so that it runs even better - but I get that right now it would be impossible as the size of the file would take all the space of the headset memory. The only thing I would like to change in order to get the perfect experience would be an option to deactivate completely the social feature. I think the social feature is part of the experience, but one should be able to watch the show without it. I know you can mute the audio of other people, I know you can move to the edge of the watching area to avoid seing them, but it is not enough - especially because you still get notifications when they join or leave the party. The social feature is good when you want to chat, maybe for sports events or for shows you have already seen - but then you should decide whenever you want to use it, maybe you could include a dedicated area in each space, and keep it activated for all users only when they are in the lobby, far from the stage ? I really, really enjoyed the "follow the action" feature that allows you to watch the show automatically from selected viewpoints, with great transitions. The only thing is, you have to reactivate it each time a new song starts - maybe this could be improved too. And I think the fact you can only see the show at certain dedicated time slots makes the experience even more thrilling, it feels like you have to get prepared and wait as if it was live. Thank you so much for creating this beautiful, incredible and moving experience. It gives so much hope regarding the possible cultural usages of VR. You did an amazing work.
