Great presentation with fun trinkets to collect and play with on your highres journey to the stars! One thing though, MUST be fixed. Allow us to buffer enough video to play a video without lag. OR let us download the entire video before viewing. It is extremely of putting to have a black screen with a loading circle appear stuttering throughout the video. We want to see the video in the highest resolution possible. Also, please up the resolution of the wonderful menu screens for the Quest 3.

Please bring back cached content!

I think this is hands down the best cinematic VR content ever made, but I preferred how the old app let you download the content instead of streaming it. Nothing ruins your immersion more than the video pausing to buffer, and I feel like the quality as a bit higher too. Even on 2gbps fiber I still experience buffering at times. Otherwise I love the updates to the app, and the hand tracking controls are very intuitive.

Unfortunately...

This app would probably be good if it worked. The hand tracking took many attempts to work, and is still very temperamental, and will only sort of work in a very brightly lit room. The streaming is also terrible even with a high speed broadband connection, and some of the footage is so dark and poor quality. Overall - a frustrating experience. The app feels broken, hand tracking should be optional, and half of the footage is unwatchable.

INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING

My daughter wants to be an astronaut and I was going to show her this, but after I was as patient as possible, waiting between 30 seconds to sometimes near 2 minutes for buffering to stop, I knew that there is no way my daughter could be inspired by this. Simple solution the the biggest problem your app has: make all the videos downloadable to store in the Meta Quest 3 headset and we wont have to experience 80% buffering and 20% of the excellent potential your app has. Just let us store the video files and make it work that way, locally. Otherwise, no matter whether we have 2.4 or 5 or 6 or 7 wifi or cable internet or satellite, we won't have to be saddened by the experience.

How can VR be taken seriously?

Videos with resolutions that are indecent to watch (worse than 480p), constant loading blocks, menus and tracking that are truly terrible in terms of resolution and hand tracking, and annoying HUDs that are impossible to remove from the screen. Giving this app 5 stars is a disservice to VR. Great content, but technically horrible for Quest 3.
