Bringing out the inner child.

This app took me back to Christmas morning, when I opened a track racing set. A figure 8 with a lap counter and chicane. This was long before consoles and home computers, pocket calculates hadn't even been invented yet. Once again I could feel the thrill of trying to keep my car on the track. The fact you have unlimited track and accessories just makes my heart jump for joy. Naturally my car has to be British Racing Green. I don't know yet if you can turn on the lights like you could the old toy car models. If not maybe something to think about??? Just one thing no I am not going to wear shorts again.

Fun, Fun, Fun

I absolutely love this game! 2 things for the dev’s that would make it perfect for me: 1) The ability to have more cars available and maybe include motorcycles 2) since I seldom (if ever) play multiplayer games, I would love the ability to race against a computer controlled (bot) opponent.

Future Opportunity?

THERE REALLY SHOULD BE A CAMERA BUTTON TO SWITCH FROM WATCHING THE CAR ON THE TRACK TO A POV OF ME IN THE CAR ACTUALLY DRIVING THE TRACK. MAY WANNA LOOK INTO. AND. ALLOW GHOST CARS TO RIDE ALONG US IN SINGLE PLAYER OTHER THEN THAT GREAT CONCEPT

A great start. Needs an expert mode

I've been begging for a Scalextric VR game for a long time and this one ticks many boxes. The circuit editor is exactly how it should be: you can put together a circuit in a matter of minutes and the parts can deform to fit together as if they were real plastic track parts. The main thing I'm missing as of now is the physics. Real slot car racing is million times harder than this game. If you pressed the trigger fully on a real slot car game the car would go off-track at the first turn, here it will take a while for it to gain enough speed and crash. I think this needs some tweaking, otherwise races won't be as competitive and fun as they could be. I'm happy to have slower cars that will remain on the track no matter what, or perhaps an easy mode for little children, I don't mind. But we also need an expert mode or an expert car, that requires precise timing and control of the trigger.

Fantastic mixed reality game

Have had this title for a few months and can say that this is the kind of game that mixed reality is made for. If you ever played with slot cars as a kid (or big kid) then don't wait on getting this one, nice to see it's an affordable price too. The track designer is great and there's already a lot of user designed tracks, I expect we will see a lot more now that it's on Horizon+ Looking forward to the upcoming update but amongst other things I'd like to see: A search and alphanumeric sorting facility in the track selection menu. The ability to also be able remotely place a car on the track without having to reach manually to place it down (this would also allow it to be more accessible for someone who is disabled in a chair). Still allow manual placing of the car though. Alpha transparent shadows of track items showing on my floor (at present the shadows only work on the graphics of the game, not the passthrough camera view, proper shadows would increase immersion). Better match making. Click and release palm trigger to grab and hold the controller, rather than needing to hold the trigger down the entire time which adds fatigue. Well done to the developer, it's a great app.
