Scan Runner

WHAT IS SCANRUNNER? ScanRunner is a mixed-reality platformer for Meta Quest 3 that turns your real room into the game. Using your headset's Space Setup scan, your tables, couch, bed and shelves become the level — and a tiny 13 cm hero runs, jumps and flies across them. One rule always applies: the floor is lava.

YOUR ROOM, YOUR LEVEL Every play is generated from your actual space. The same room is never the same twice, and no two players run the same course. Don't have a scan yet? ScanRunner builds a floating virtual course for you automatically.

TIGHT, JUICY PLATFORMING

• Coyote time and jump buffering for responsive, forgiving controls
• Double jump for extra air
• Stomp blob enemies from above to knock them out
• Coins to collect, moving platforms, and a flag to reach

POWER-UPS

• Jetpack: steer through the air in any direction for a gentle lift
• Shield: shrug off a hit
• Speed Boost: burn across the room faster

PLAY SOLO OR TOGETHER

• Solo: beat your best time and climb your leaderboard of one.
• Local 2-player over Wi-Fi: race to grab the most coins, or team up in co-op to reach the flag together. Grab a second Quest 3, join on the same network, and go.

FEEL THE ROOM Passthrough mixed reality keeps your real space visible around the game, with haptic feedback and synthesized chiptune audio — no giant asset packs, just fast, playful VR.

GETTING STARTED

1. Scan your room in Settings -> Physical Space -> Space Setup.
2. Launch ScanRunner and allow spatial data access.
